Ivan, who returns to his job again and again, tries to do his job properly. While he tries not to leave his work unfinished except in exceptional cases, he is sometimes seen to leave it unfinished.
"What am I doing here, even though I feel very tired these days. I can't believe it."
Will, who arrives a few minutes after Ivan, goes to his own table with his usual "irritating" face.
"Why are you whining again Ivan, your attitude has changed lately and I know it. You should pull yourself together, look, I'm saying it for your own good, huh?"
"Thank you, I don't understand why you're asking for an account at such a moment without even saying good morning. Maybe if you asked properly, I could answer. Please Will, please go back to your own work."
After the heated conversation between Ivan and Will, the two of them returned to their desks and focused on their work, and the silence began. The empty desks were filled until the start of work.
"Guys, look here. Come on... now, I'm telling you who will be working overtime today."
After the higher-ups announced who would be working overtime at each job, the office fell silent. Thus, Ivan and the other employees' work began. Ivan, who mostly drank coffee while working, was able to wake up. After finishing most of the work he had to do, he would take a cigarette break and relax a little.
"I would never trade a cigarette break for anything else. I like how it reduces my stress, even just a little."
As he drank while looking at the view from the fire escape, his co-worker Ruby joined him. After a short break, they returned to their jobs and continued working, hoping the day would end quickly. As the sun set, some of the employees whose hours were up headed home, while others headed out to drink.
