Chapter 89 - Enel fights the three women -87

As soon as Peter dissolved the protective barrier and prepared to land with the three girls, he immediately sensed an unnatural disturbance in the sky.

However, Hina picked up on the same feeling a moment later than him. She raised her head toward the heavens.

"What is that? Thunderclouds?"

But she didn't get an answer—because a massive bolt of lightning had already descended from above under Enel's control.

The lightning column, at least ten meters wide, was enough to engulf all four of them at once.

Nami, a step too slow to react, looked up and her face turned pale with fear.

"Peter!"

But she didn't need to say more. A purple light flashed in Peter's eyes, and before the bolt could reach them, it shattered in midair—breaking apart into countless sparks before vanishing completely.

Peter calmly shifted his gaze toward the Sky Temple.

"Seems the master of this place isn't too eager to welcome us."

Enel, who had just unleashed "God's Punishment," couldn't stop himself from trembling at the bizarre sight.

Nami was still shivering in fear, and only after a while did she burst out in anger:

"You bastard! Who dares attack us from the shadows? If you've got the guts, come out! Let this lady teach you a lesson and pound you into minced meat!"

She waved her small fist in the air, as if addressing an invisible foe.

It wasn't just her who felt the dread; Hina and Robin also knew that if Peter hadn't intervened, their chances of surviving that strike would have been almost zero.

Using her Observation Haki and sharp intuition, Hina was the first to pinpoint Enel's location. She pointed seriously to the front-left.

"There… Hina senses a dangerous aura from that direction."

Immediately, Nami and Robin extended their senses in the direction she indicated, and quickly locked onto Enel's presence as well.

Nami snapped angrily:

"Let's go teach him a lesson!"

She charged forward first, rushing toward Enel.

Hina and Robin exchanged a glance with Peter, and once they saw his nod of approval, they followed right after her.

At the same time, Enel was still confused:

"I clearly released God's Punishment… what happened mid-way? I didn't see them move at all, yet my thunder vanished completely…"

A strange unease began to creep into his heart, but his inflated confidence soon smothered it. Instead of retreating, he sat back down on the throne of "God," crossing one leg casually as he waited.

"Let this god see for himself… who dares provoke divinity! Worthless mortals courting death—I'll turn you all into charcoal!"

He didn't wait long; soon four streaks of light appeared above the temple—Peter and the three girls entered his sight.

His eyes narrowed as he muttered:

"They have no wings… so, they're from the Blue Sea."

Then he lifted his head proudly and declared:

"Insolent mortals, forcing a god to lower his gaze upon you? Kneel before me, and perhaps in my boundless mercy, I'll spare your pitiful lives."

Instead of kneeling, Nami shot back with venom:

"Ha! Big ears… you're the one who attacked us, right? Calling yourself a 'god' and us 'mortals'—are you mentally ill, or were you just born defective?"

Enel's face darkened instantly, his teeth grinding in fury.

"You worthless insect! Do you even know who you're speaking to?! You've angered this god—taste true divine punishment!"

He raised his golden staff and struck the drums behind him lightly.

"Thirty million volts… Thunderbird!!"

In an instant, a massive bird of lightning spread its wings and shot straight toward Nami.

She screamed defiantly:

"You think I'll be scared of you? The only frightening thing here is your stupid face!"

She gathered her energy between her hands, shaping it into a glowing sphere.

Realizing the danger, Hina shouted a warning:

"Be careful! He's a Logia-type Devil Fruit user—the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, one of the strongest natural fruits!"

Even though Nami had grown stronger from her recent training, Hina couldn't rest easy leaving her alone. She rushed to her side, arms outstretched to summon her own power. Robin followed closely behind.

In perfect harmony, the three launched their attacks at the giant thunderbird:

Nami: "Explosion Shell!"Hina: "Storm Cannon!"Robin: "…"

Streams of yellow, pink, and white energy fired simultaneously, colliding with the electric bird. Its massive form detonated before reaching them, dissolving into sparks.

Enel staggered back in shock.

"W-what?! Are you… all Devil Fruit users?!"

But the girls paid him no mind.

Instead, Nami turned to Robin, pouting:

"Wait! Robin, why didn't you call out your attack name like us? We had perfect synergy, but you ruined the atmosphere! It wasn't exciting or cool at all!"

Even Hina crossed her arms, looking at Robin with silent disapproval.

Robin averted her gaze, then replied softly:

"I'll keep it in mind next time… sorry."

Nami clapped her hands, pleased:

"That's better! Okay, Hina, let's attack together. Robin, you cover us from the back!"

"Understood," both Hina and Robin answered.

After forming a simple plan, they set it in motion.

Nami and Hina circled from opposite sides, trying to flank Enel, while Robin fired three consecutive air blasts to keep him distracted.

Faced with the three-way assault, Enel was stunned for a moment, but quickly regained his calm.

"Heh. Destroying my attacks beforehand means nothing. If you approach me, all that awaits you is death."

Confident in his elemental body, he ignored Nami and Hina's charges entirely. He sent a lightning serpent to clash with Robin's blasts, waiting for the moment the two would realize they couldn't touch him—then he'd strike them down at once.

But his plan was doomed from the start. Ever since Crocodile, Peter had already proven that mere "elementalization" could be tracked through Ki energy!

"Hah! Sisters… random strike!"

In the next instant, Hina's high heel came crashing from one side, while Nami's heavy hammer smashed from the other—both landing square on Enel's face.

His head squashed like a ball, teeth flying everywhere, his brain rattled until his vision blurred.

Why? Why could they touch me?!

Staggering, Enel collapsed to his knees in disbelief.

The three surrounded him in a triangle, ready to deliver the finishing blow.

Nami shouted:

"Ready! All three of us—Ki Explosion!!"

Hina: "Light Barrage!"Robin: "…"

Three blasts of radiant light converged on Enel, engulfing him in a massive explosion.

Yet, despite the spectacle, neither Nami nor Hina looked relieved.

Instead, they rushed straight to Robin, scolding her in unison:

"Robin! Didn't we agree just now? Why didn't you say your line?!"

Nami puffed her cheeks in frustration, glaring at her.

This time, Robin didn't deny it. With a trace of tension, she spoke honestly:

"I can't… saying something like that is far too embarrassing."

"Na-ni?! E-embarrassing?!"

Nami stuttered like she'd taken a critical hit.

Robin continued calmly:

"Yes, it's truly embarrassing."

"You said it twice!!" Hina shouted in disbelief.

Robin sighed. "Don't you think yelling out attack names in battle… is something only children do?"

"You're calling us children…?!"

Her words struck like a second blow, leaving both Nami and Hina mentally shaken.

Hina muttered, "I used to be called the Cold Goddess in the Marines… how did I end up like this?"

Nami also began doubting herself. "That's right… I never cared about this before… why am I taking it so seriously now?"

They glanced at each other, then both said at once:

"It's all Peter's fault! He corrupted us!"

Blaming Peter somehow soothed their hearts.

But then Nami asked suddenly: "Wait, where's Peter?"

Looking around, they realized he was gone—even though there had been four of them just moments ago.

Robin pointed downward, at the smoke-filled crater of the explosion.

"There."

As Nami and Hina lowered their gaze, a black shadow was flung from the smoke, rolling across the ground—only to be stomped under Peter's foot.

"S-stop it, you insolent mortals! Remove your filthy foot from this god's body!"

Enel's voice, though weak, still carried defiance.

Robin gasped, and Nami shouted:

"No way! After our combined strike, he's still alive?!"

Hina bit her lip. "Damn it… I got careless and made a rookie mistake!"

Robin murmured, "He does have some strength… perhaps enough to warrant the title of 'god.'"

As the three descended toward Peter, he shot them a cold glance.

"What are you doing? Battle isn't a child's game for your amusement."

"Sorry…" the three answered in unison.

They lowered their heads in shame, knowing they had let their guard down too much around Peter.

"Think carefully, and don't repeat this," he said calmly.

They stayed silent. Peter wasn't one to lecture for long. He turned his gaze back to Enel, who was still pinned underfoot, struggling desperately.

"Damn you… One hundred million volts!! Discharge!!!"

Taking advantage of Peter's distraction, Enel grabbed his ankle and unleashed his most powerful attack—without even needing his ship, Maxim.

Waves of violent electricity surged from his body into Peter's, enveloping him in a blinding storm, making him look like a glowing blue man.

Even the three girls backed away from the overwhelming electrical pressure.

But in the heart of the storm, Peter was smiling—like he was enjoying himself.

"Mmm… a perfect massage. Feels like all my fatigue just melted away."

He stood as though nothing had happened, calmly praising the attack.

Enel's jaw dropped in disbelief, his nose almost dripping from shock.

"Im… impossible!!"

But Peter had proven, beyond doubt, that thunder was worthless against a Saiyan whose power level had long surpassed ten thousand.
