Chapter 66 - nojiko in -64

"That's how it is... Can you please let me go now?"

Nami felt her sister's body suddenly stiffen. She gave an awkward smile and laughed shyly.

But from an angle Nami couldn't see, her face first flushed red, then turned purple, and finally went pale as iron.

After a long time with no response, Nami gave up on politeness and shouted while struggling in her embrace:

"No way to escape! You can't blame me. Anyway, I needed to save face. Even when I was drunk, it was embarrassing to say those words. How did you expect your mind to go that far—even you yourself..."

"Shut up!! Don't say another word!!!"

Nojiko's ears turned so red it looked like they might bleed from a mere touch. She cut Nami off angrily.

Nojiko pushed her annoying sister away from her arms, gripping her neck tightly while shaking her angrily and saying:

"You bastard, you need to clarify this! Anyone who saw that would definitely misunderstand! Who would think you really started having feelings for him, when you two only recently met!"

Nami stuck out her tongue in response to the choking, and after Nojiko's scolding, her anger flared up quickly.

She shoved Nojiko hard onto the bed, taking advantage of the moment to press down on her, grabbing both of her breasts with both hands and retorting defiantly:

"How can you blame me? You're the one overthinking. Besides, that man is handsome, powerful, and amazing all at once. He completely captivated me. With all those factors, any girl would find it hard not to admire him."

Nojiko's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, then she violently tossed her body to fling Nami away. They then exchanged words fiercely, leading to a scuffle:

"You fool, if we say it's your fault, then it's your fault. You've grown up enough to dare argue with your sister—just wait and see how I'll punish you!"

With those words, Nojiko launched an attack.

Nami soon burst out laughing, her long legs kicking the bed energetically.

Still not giving up, she laughed back:

"Hahaha, you stupid Nojiko, why didn't I see this courage yesterday!"

Then Nami bit down with her teeth and pushed with her leg to shove Nojiko away, before screaming and lunging at her again.

Nojiko didn't back down; she clung tightly and they began wrestling on the bed.

When Peter returned from the village after buying breakfast, he found the two topless sisters tumbling together.

Peter stammered: "I know you two are sisters with a strong bond, but... how can I put this... some things cross human limits, and I don't encourage that."

Nami noticed his return, her eyes sparkling instantly, and called out for outside help:

"What did you say? Come help me! Today, I will win no matter what!"

Since Nojiko was on top with her back to Peter, she couldn't see whom Nami was talking to.

But even if she thought a bit, she knew well who would be here at this hour.

"No! We are allies. We've all fought on the same bed, and you shouldn't favor one over the other!"

She said this, then returned to the fight.

After a while, Peter understood why some people enjoyed watching women fight.

Although they were sisters, their words were ruthless. He found it a bit funny, but at the same time felt heated watching breasts fly everywhere.

When Robin and the other girls arrived at the sisters' house following information from the villagers, they found the two looking tired, hair messy, and marks of bites and scratches on their bodies, with Peter beside them wearing a half-smile.

Robin frowned upon seeing the scene and coldly addressed Peter:

"You bastard."

Peter looked surprised and raised his hands innocently:

"Wait, wait! It's not what you think!!"

Minutes later, when everyone understood the truth, they all sat around the table. The two sisters who had just fought returned to a friendly mood and sat next to each other.

Peter felt it was time to say something, so he began:

"Well, despite some small incidents, we're happy to have the two new members. Let's give a warm round of applause to Nami and Nojiko."

Scattered clapping was heard around the room.

After the previous joking, Nojiko started realizing the reality she was in but had no intention of joining Peter and his friends.

"I'll stay here. I want to take care of the orange orchards Bill Mire left behind."

Peter said: "Don't worry, you can transfer some trees to our ship later. Nami and I have actually talked about it. As for the rest, you can take care of them if you want. If not possible, I can send them through trade to Alabasta in the Grand Line, and then you can decide."

Peter suggested these two options.

He had no intention of letting go of the woman he liked, especially since Nojiko was one of his targets in the East Blue; there was no way he'd let her escape.

Nami felt Peter's suggestion was good, especially since Nojiko also became one of Peter's women. It made no sense for her to stay alone in the village.

She wanted to explore the world with family by her side.

She said while helping to persuade:

"Come on, when I play outside and my sister is alone at home, it makes me feel guilty."

"I'm not alone. Uncle Agin is in the village and everyone is here with me."

"But we're the only real family." Nami patted Nojiko's arm, shook it hard, with tears pleading in her eyes:

"Come with us, let's discover this wonderful world together, just for me."

Nojiko couldn't resist Nami. She sighed and replied:

"Okay, I'll do as you both say."

Nami jumped joyfully, and everyone welcomed the two sisters with a mix of jealousy and happiness.

Peter thought to himself: "Finally, after all this time in the East Blue, we've accomplished two-thirds of the mission. Now only the lovely Miss Kaya remains."

Peter knew the location of Syrup Village, which Nami had visited before, and planned to ask her later.

After taking little Kaya, he would start the real journey.

Then he thought: "The big war is expected to start soon, and I still haven't decided if I'll participate."

"Because there's no one there I like, and the only real target is Hancock, and I can stop her before it starts, so no need to join."

But these were just his current thoughts; maybe if he got excited about the battle in the future, he would decide to join in and have fun.

For now, Peter wanted to stay in the village for a few days since such a loud celebration was rare.

Also, moving the orange trees would take time.

So everyone spent three extra days in Kokwasi village, and on the fourth day, the villagers sadly bid them farewell as they set off to their next destination.

Nojiko stood on the ship's deck, looking at the sea, and said expressively:

"Really, this is the first time I'm going out to sea with a real purpose."

"I thought I'd remain a farming girl in the village all my life, but I never expected to see such beautiful sights."

Nami smiled and hugged her from behind, resting her chin on her shoulder, joking:

"Haha, now you know who to thank, but that's not all; there are many wonderful places at sea we haven't seen yet."

Optimism transferred from Nami to Nojiko, who finally began feeling comfortable and enjoying the sea journey away from the village.

"Okay, what's our next goal? Has Peter decided?"

Nojiko's question made Nami stop laughing and immediately open the sea map seriously.

"The next stop is Syrup Village. I've been there before."

"They say Peter is going there to look for someone, and if he finds him, we'll get ready to return to the Grand Line."

"The Grand Line? That scary and legendary place?"

Nojiko's mouth opened wide in surprise, pointing to herself and stammering:

"Isn't that a mistake? I'm new to the sea, and now I'm going to the Grand Line as the second stop. That's a lot of pressure on me!"

Nami also felt worried inside, though she was experienced in navigation, she had never been to the Grand Line before, only heard scary stories about it.

She swallowed hard and tried to reassure her sister:

"Don't worry, Peter and his friends came from the Grand Line. Also, Carina entered the Grand Line from the East Blue and had no problems."

"With them, we should be fine... maybe."

"Hey, don't talk like that; your words don't sound like things will be okay."

Nojiko saw Nami's concern and didn't know how to respond.

She shook her head and decided to ask more trustworthy people.

She said goodbye to Nami, who was planning the route, and Nojiko sat alone.

She was supposed to ask Peter, but he spent last night playing poker with Robin and Hina, then they went straight to sleep, and maybe they were still sleeping. (Just playing, nothing happened.)

So she decided to ask Vivi, Mikita, and Carina.

According to Nami, Mikita was a difficult person to deal with, and everyone saw her as a love rival.

Carina was Mikita's enemy, and they often exchanged hostile looks.

Vivi was a nicer person and cared about Nami, so Nami recommended building a good relationship with her first.

When Nojiko found Vivi, she was playing with a fishing rod at the ship's stern, ready to cast it.

After three days of living together, Nojiko had met everyone on the ship and didn't hesitate to approach.

She said:

"Do you want help?"

Vivi looked up, her nails painted purple, wearing black high-heeled sandals.

Nojiko's eyes traveled from Vivi's feet to her bare legs, and finally to her chest hidden under a sleeveless white shirt.

Though her outfit resembled their first meeting in the village, Vivi now looked more attractive.

"No thanks, I'm almost done."

Vivi pulled the hook from the water and immediately a fish took the bait.

"There you go, Vivi's fishing rod is the strongest. Nojiko, do you want to challenge me and see who catches more?"

Nojiko smiled and accepted the challenge.

They grabbed another rod from the storage and quickly got aboard.

Vivi held her fishing rod carefully, shaking her white legs confidently.

She said:

"Deal then, whoever catches 10 fish first is the winner!"

Nojiko looked at her confidently and also didn't want to lose:

"Okay!"
