Chapter 35: Velkaris's Plan Part 2
Perspective: Velkaris
A single ripple passed through the pool.
It was slight, nearly imperceptible—yet it echoed through the mirror like thunder behind glass.
Today marks exactly one month since I came to this world.
One month since I became Velkaris.
One month of learning to breathe like a god while suffocating in reflections.
But time… it moves fast in this world. Too fast.
Today is the day Klein Moretti dies.
Today, the Book of Antigonus falls into the hands of fate.
And tonight, a Fool awakens.
Which means—
The real story is about to begin.
I've set my goals.
They're not grand declarations. No thunderous divine proclamations.
They're… strategies. Necessary steps to survive — and eventually dominate.
1. Join the Fool's Tarot Club.
The Echo-Mirror of the Fated Fool, gifted from the Unknown Shop, is my invitation.
A backdoor into the Gray Fog. I don't need to knock.
I only need to wait until the Fool opens the curtain.
And when he does… I'll be seated before he even notices.
Whether he sees me as ally, parasite, or threat — that depends on how I frame the lie.
2. Avoid the Seven Gods.
I've drawn too much attention already.
The Church of Storms is sniffing around the fog that blankets the sea.
The Evernight Church feels me in her dreams.
Even the Machinery Church has logged anomalies in systems they don't admit to controlling.
But… they still don't know my name.
That is my greatest weapon.
A lie without a name is just an echo.
3. Awaken Antigonus.
The Half-Fool buried in layers of madness and memory...
I know he exists.
I remember his voice whispering in dreams not mine.
He may hold the remnants of the Old Fool's logic, the bridge Klein will one day walk.
Antigonus must awaken — and when he does, he must owe that awakening to me.
4. Mirror People.
(Encrypted by System: Mirror Construct Sub-project *******)
It's not time to reveal this yet… but it is perhaps my most dangerous plan.
A way to remake humanity in my image — not through bloodlines, but through reflection.
They won't just worship Velkaris.
They'll become Velkaris.
Soon.
5. Become a Great Old One.
It sounds dramatic. But it's only the next rung on a very tall ladder.
To ascend past Sequence 1 — to walk into the sea of madness and not drown —
I need more than a pathway. I need a paradox.
Fake + Heartbound + Witness.
Lies, emotions, truth.
But I still lack one piece — one fusion pathway that can tie it all together.
I have ideas. I've begun to search.
But I will not rush it. The wrong god becomes a disaster.
The wrong fusion... becomes a monster.
For now… I stay still.
I watch the world move.
I refine the illusion.
Let Klein rise as the Fool.
Let the churches begin their dance.
Let the Sefirot tremble in silence.
And let Velkaris — the nameless god in the mirrors — become the first lie the world believes before the truth even asks to be heard.
"Time to watch the curtains open," I whisper.
I adjust my reflection. It's not smiling.
But it wants to.
