Chapter 1 - Prologue

Sixteen years ago, the city of Jenkiora screamed.

Stone walls that had stood for centuries cracked under demonic talons.

Homes burned.

Ash fell like snow. And in the heart of the chaos, the Warrior King bled in silence.

They came from the Howling Abyss — a tear in the world that should never have been opened.

The priests warned the High Council, but their arrogance choked out caution. "The Abyss is sealed," they claimed. "Our Star Spirits guard us."

They were wrong.

And now, hell had come.

Above the shattered spires of the Citadel, a storm churned. Black lightning cracked the sky as a colossal shape emerged — a demon of terrible grace and terrifying might.

Cloaked in purple fire, it hovered above the city with six wings of jagged bone and a crown of writhing shadow.

The Purple Demon had arrived.

A hundred soldiers charged. None survived.

A thousand spells were cast. They barely scratched its skin.

And then… Raizen Yuhira, the Warrior King, stepped forward.

His armor was fractured, his greatsword scorched and cracked. But his eyes burned with divine defiance — the last ember of hope in a dying city.

He stood at the gates of the Broken Citadel, where the demon waited.

"You've killed enough," Raizen growled, the air around him trembling from sheer will. "This ends now."

The Purple Demon grinned, revealing rows of serrated teeth behind a human-like face. "Your body is strong, King," it said, its voice echoing like a dozen whispers layered over screams. "I will wear it like a trophy."

Raizen spat blood. "You won't wear anything when I'm through with you."

He rushed the demon, sword igniting in white flame — Raizen's final technique, a gift of the Star Spirit Astrael herself.

The clash was apocalyptic.

Lightning fell like rain. The earth cracked beneath their feet. The ley lines of the Land of Joy trembled as raw, divine, and demonic magic collided in brutal fury.

Raizen gave it everything.

The demon nearly won.

But at the final moment — when the sword shattered and the King's strength waned — he reached inside himself and did the unthinkable. His newborn son, barely an hour old, lay cradled in the arms of the dying Queen behind him.

A vessel.

A soul untouched.

A perfect prison.

Raizen placed his bloodied hand over the child's eyes and whispered the Forbidden Rite — the sealing spell written in the tongue of the Star Spirits, a spell so old even the gods wept when it was uttered.

Light exploded.

The Purple Demon screamed, not in pain — but in fury.

Its form was torn apart, ripped into a thousand shards of violet fire… and drawn into the baby's eyes.

And just like that, silence fell.

The demon was gone.

But so was Raizen.

16 YEARS LATER

Jenkiora healed, but scars remained.

Statues were rebuilt. Towers restored. But the memory of them Demon war — The Fire, the screams, the death — lingered in every corner of the city.

In the eastern district near iron crest academy gates, a boy sat alone in an alleyway purple eyes staring at the ground.

His name was Senko Yuhira

And he had no idea he was the reason the city stood.

"Demon eyes," a voice hissed from above.

Senko didn't look up, he knew the voice. Train Vos- an upperclassman, a proud bastard of the Blade Division. Always Loud. Always looking for a fight.

Senko Kept quiet

Another voice followed. "Look at him. Same dead stare. Maybe if we kick his ass hard enough, he will blink."

Senko stood slowly. The other two — Garrick and Jalen — moved in behind Tarin, grinning like wolves.

"I'm not looking for trouble" Senko said, slowly.

Tarin's grin widened. "That's funny, 'cause trouble's always looking for you."

A fist came. Fast.

Senko blocked it — barely — but the second punch from behind caught him in the ribs. He gasped, falling to one knee. The pain didn't scare him. The voices did.

Kill them. Let them bleed. Let me out.

"Shut up," Senko whispered.

Tarin frowned. "What'd you say?"

Senko's hands trembled. His vision blurred.

A flicker of purple.

He clutched his face.

Just a taste, little prince. Just a whisper of power.

"No!"

The alley shook — subtly, but enough to make Tarin step back.

"You're fucking' weird, Yuhira," Garrick muttered.

"Let's bounce," Jalen said. "Creeps me out."

They left him there.

Shaking.

Alone.

That night, Senko lay on the roof of his dormitory, staring at the stars.

He hated the quiet.

In the quiet, the voices grew louder.

"You awake?" a voice whispered.

Senko turned his head. Liora Eyn, his only friend, stood beside him in her academy robe, holding two meat buns.

"You skipped dinner again," she said, sitting beside him.

"Didn't feel like it."

She handed him one anyway. "Eat, dumbass."

He chuckled. "You're the only one who talks to me like that."

"That's because I'm not afraid of you."

"You should be."

She didn't answer.

He looked at her. "Liora… if I told you something crazy — like, really crazy — would you believe me?"

She chewed thoughtfully. "I'd believe you before anyone else in this academy. Why?"

He hesitated.

Then sighed.

"Nothing."

She didn't press. She just sat with him, watching the stars.

Meanwhile, far below the academy, behind layers of magic, stone, and secrecy, Headmaster Thorne Calix stood before a sealed vault. The sigil of the Seven Star Spirits glowed faintly on its door.

Beside him, Mistress Valien whispered, "It's growing stronger."

"Yes," Thorne said grimly. "The seal is holding… but the boy's aura is shifting."

"Do we tell him?"

"No. Not yet."

"If the demon breaks free—"

"He's not ready."

Valien narrowed her eyes. "And when he is?"

Thorne looked up at the sky. The stars above Jenkiora pulsed violet for a heartbeat.

"Then we pray Raizen's sacrifice wasn't in vain."

Back in his bed, Senko tossed and turned.

In his dream, fire rained from the sky.

He stood in the ruins of Jenkiora.

Demons surrounded him, bowing.

And in the center of them all… a throne of black bone waited.

He stepped toward it.

And in his reflection, he saw the Purple Demon smiling back.
