Lyanna follows me to my car reluctantly. She won't talk to me anymore.
"I swear I can explain."
"Then explain," she faces me, her arms crossed over her chest, her brows pinched together.
I rest back against the car seat, my head spinning with the wild thoughts swirling in my brain.
"He.. he isn't a nice person at all. He—" I drag in a painful inhale, "He's.. a hybrid and—"
"You hate him because he's a hybrid? How does that even make any sense?"
I open my mouth to say something, but she looks the other way, "You fill your heart with too much hate. Do you think that helps you?"
"Hear me out," I try to say feeling a pang of hurt hit me in the chest at her words.
"No, I don't want to listen to you. Just take me home," she rests her head on her palm, leaning further into the car seat.
Is she seriously angry with me because of that scum? Haa, all I want to do now is rip that smug smile off his face.
