"What's with you? Why are you panting like that?" I furrow my brows.
"Sir, you have to come check this out. It's what Sarah just saw in her office."
I narrow my eyes, and walk up to him, "Stop acting like a nervous dog, and calm the fuck down."
He exhales, and stops fidgeting.
"Let's go check it out then," I hurry towards the elevator, Louis trailing behind me.
Blankness fills out a space in my chest as I'm hurrying to the elevator. The alarms begin to blare in my head, signaling that something is wrong.
Something that I'm not ready for.
We both get into the elevator, and it takes us down to the first floor.
I saunter up to Lyanna's office, which is buzzing with almost all the staff. Louis shouts at them to make a clearing while I just breeze into the office.
"What's happening?" I ask.
Sarah looks at me worriedly, and hands me a stack of papers.
They are financial statements that involve the company's account and another private account.
