Honestly, owing a favor to such an ancient and powerful goddess was not a bad thing, at least Godwyn created a cooperative relationship with Nyx. Not every god could find the Primordial Goddess of Night.
Without Gaia acting as a bridge between them, he himself could not find Nyx at this moment, not when he was not yet a God King to have an equal dialogue with the goddess.
Looking at the starry cloak of darkness on the table, Godwyn's eyes were brighter than ever. With this cloak, he could invade Olympus without any problems. As long as he didn't encounter Zeus, he could even go to Hera's room without anyone finding out.
Of course, to have another layer of protection, he would have to assume the identity of a god. Godwyn was not an impulsive boy, he knew that invading Olympus could not be done casually or unprepared. Just as Batman had prepared a script, he had to be cautious.
"Godwyn, my drink." Thalia said with a dissatisfied tone seeing that everyone was drinking and she wasn't. As for minors who shouldn't drink, Thalia rolled her eyes at that, she had killed a person (goddess), drinking was the least of anyone's worries.
Godwyn was also not a hypocrite and served the same drink that Loki was drinking, a Cosmopolitan, which Thalia quickly drank with a satisfied expression. She felt quite happy that Godwyn actually served her the drink.
"A bit citrusy." Thalia murmured, but liked the drink, even though it was vodka-based. "That drink book really served a purpose." She looked at Godwyn and said with a still surprised tone. She saw Godwyn reading a drink book, but didn't imagine he could learn so quickly.
"You should read a book and you'll discover something interesting." Godwyn rolled his eyes, if Thalia had a book, she would have noticed that her Dyslexia and ADHD had disappeared. The curse that afflicts all demigods so they don't know too much, had disappeared for Thalia.
As for his ability to learn, Godwyn rolled his eyes again, he was a god. Although he was not a god involving any mental aspect, he could learn things extremely quickly.
Thalia shook her head and refused to read a book, she hated the feeling of reading, she simply couldn't focus on the book. Besides, even if she could focus, how could she read a book with letters flying before her? She preferred to listen to the private lessons Mimir gave. He was an excellent teacher.
"It seems you have no chance of getting your claws on him, sister." Nyx commented, seeing the interaction between the two demigods."
Gaia replied with a smile. "He's not married, and even if he were, when in the history of gods and mortals has that prevented it?"
"Character?" Nyx said with a sarcastic tone, making the earth goddess's eyes narrow. She felt that Nyx had verbally attacked her.
"Still angry because I interfered in the underworld?" Gaia asked with an equally sarcastic tone. Although some thought that Hades falling in love with Persephone was the natural cycle of things, creating winter and spring, it was quite the opposite.
Hades only fell in love with Persephone because she was pulling some strings of fate in the shadows. The reason for this was simple, to have an important pawn in the underworld. Just as Nyx placed Thanatos and Hypnos to serve the Lord of the Underworld, she had also placed Persephone as Queen of the Underworld.
However, this naturally caused great dissatisfaction in Nyx. The underworld was her home, Erebus and Tartarus. Gaia placing such an important pawn in the center of their power was simply an act of war.
"If you know, why do you still pretend to be innocent?" Nyx asked with a cold tone. Hades was always chosen to administer the Underworld, the God of the Dead was perfect for the role. He had the dignity, wisdom and strength of a true king.
"You know the Underworld is too important, I couldn't do nothing." Gaia said with a simple tone and admitted that she had placed a pawn in her sister's territory. "Besides, do you dare to say that Hecate is not your pawn on Olympus?"
"No, she is not my pawn." Nyx replied with a cold tone, surprising Gaia. She looked at her sister with a touch of surprise, then smiled happily. "Then you are a fool, older sister."
"Gaia, watch your words." Nyx's already cold face became even colder, if that was possible. A vague aura of war emanated from the primordial goddess of night.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!" Loki, who feared that the world was not chaotic enough, began to shout while using his hands to make things even crazier. The trickster god's eyes couldn't be more excited at this moment. A fight between two primordial goddesses was something extremely rare to see.
"Ahem." Godwyn finally noticed what was happening with both goddesses and spoke with a gentle tone. "Beautiful ladies should not fight over insignificant matters, especially two such noble goddesses."
Nyx snorted coldly, but her aura returned to calm, without that warlike feeling anymore. She looked at Gaia and said calmly. "He's right, I'm the oldest and heir to our father, why should I fight with my little sister?"
There was no sarcasm and contempt in the words of the Goddess of Eternal Night, only the purest truth. But, there was a saying that the truth is often more painful than anything else in this world.
As soon as Nyx's words sounded, Gaia's smiling face disappeared, she showed a calm expression, but if any Primordial God were present, they would know that the calmer Gaia became, the angrier she was.
Gaia narrowed her eyes and looked at Nyx with a calm and deep gaze. What was the greatest injustice in her life? It was not being her father's heir.
What is it to inherit the power of Chaos itself? Very simple, the authority capable of killing any Greek god as if it were nothing. Even if the Greek gods were the most difficult to kill, with this authority, Nyx could destroy the immortality of the Greek gods as if they were a bunch of stupid potatoes.
"Yes, you are the oldest." Gaia said with a calm tone while drinking her Irish Whiskey with an even calmer gaze. However, seeing her fingers tightly gripping the glass, Godwyn knew that the primordial goddess of the earth was not as calm as she would like to appear.
One didn't need to be a genius to know that this was the origin of the fight between the two primordial goddesses. Being poor is not terrible, terrible is inequality, this feeling of comparison could corrupt anyone or god.
Chaos gave his inheritance to Nyx and Erebus, but left out the other children, giving them nothing. This naturally caused dissatisfaction to these primordial gods, who felt that they were as important to their own father/mother.
Gaia in particular, always felt that her father had been cruel to her all these years, she suffered so much to develop the Pantheon, but never received anything, not even a word of thanks. Nothing, absolutely nothing, not even a meager word.
Meanwhile, just by being born before everyone else, Nyx had received her father's inheritance. How could this be fair? Perhaps that's why Gaia always helped her youngest son rebel against his father, it was like that with Cronus, it was like that with Zeus. It was her way of rebelling against her own father.
However, Godwyn seriously doubted that Chaos really cared about Gaia's antics. Yes, in Godwyn's eyes, Chaos probably saw Gaia's actions as a child's game.
Gaia was old, yes. But the one who was truly old was Chaos himself. This being who was neither man nor woman, was simply too old. The mere word old or ancient could not even be associated with him, for he was so old that the mere concept of time no longer existed for him or her.
So, Godwyn felt that Gaia's actions were nothing more than the antics of a spoiled and angry child. How would Chaos, one of the oldest beings in the universe, care about the feelings of a child?
Of course, Godwyn would not say what he was thinking, he still wanted to be alive for a long time, besides not wanting to end the agreement between him and Gaia.
In this heavy and cold atmosphere, Nyx and Gaia drank in silence, only Loki was smiling from ear to ear, showing a rather indecent expression, as if he were a bitch in heat, which caused shivers in Thalia and Godwyn.
The trickster god was truly terrifying.
