"How sure are we of this information!?" One of the Vice-Admirals demanded as he slammed down the newest newspaper, others around him looking horrified as they read the paper themselves and the Admirals were all tense as well. Which meant that the news was likely true and very much Not Good.
After all learning that Red Hair Shanks was biologically related to Whitebeard was bad enough but sort of expected since no one was sure where he came from after all. So learning that Shanks came from a big name, another Yonko even, wasn't that surprising although a few Marines who had bet on his parentage cursed as they had thought that Shanks rivalry with Kaido was more than just two rival Yonkos.
Recalling that Straw Hat Luffy was apparently the son of Shanks and Charlotte Smoothie however made more than a few break out into a cold sweat. Because now that they knew that Shanks was Whitebeards son that meant that Straw Hat was the grandson of Whitebeard and the grandson of Big Mom.
Straw Hat Luffy, a rookie who they had had no warning about before he appeared all of a sudden in East Blue of all places, was raised and trained by all Four Yonko. And he was related to three of the four.
"At least now we know why Kaido was apparently interested in him." Aokiji said although his eyes were serious as he stared at the paper and there was a small bead of sweat rolling down the back of his neck.
Apparently Kaido also had a child that they hadn't had any information about prior to this. A girl who liked to refer to herself as a guy and apparently wanted to be just like Kozuki Oden. Something most of the Marines felt was bullshit or at least exaggerated. And if it was real then it was probably just her trying to rebel against her father in a small way. After all she was born a girl and so she would stay a girl. This bit about her being a man and referring to herself as one? Just further proof in their minds about how pirates shouldn't have children. Unless she was an Okama or her gender changed by Emperio Ivankov (which was impossible since they knew he was imprisoned in Impel Down where no one could escape or get free) then she was no man. She was just a woman trying to deny her gender.
A woman with a mythical Zoan fruit that had something to do with a fox or wolf.
Who had given Straw Hat some of her fur, which was usually considered a courting gift amongst zoans from what a few of their own zoans in the Marines had said.
Which meant that Kaidos daughter was courting Straw Hat Luffy, the son of Shanks and grandson of Big Mom and Whitebeard.
If the two were allowed to court and marry then all four Yonko would be in an alliance by marriage. An alliance formed by the marriage of the son of Shanks and the daughter of Kaido. The grandson of Big Mom and Whitebeard…the son of Shanks and Sweet Commander Smoothie. Married to the daughter of Kaido who was said to be able to hold her own against any of the Flying Six and they weren't sure but it was rumored that she could hold her own against Jack and Queen as well. The Marines weren't sure if they believed that but if she was Kaido's daughter (and seriously who the fuck was her mother?!) then it was possible that she could do such a thing since she was apparently a few years older than Straw Hat and therefore having trained in the New World, on Wano even, for longer without Marine intervention. There was no telling what kind of monster she was.
To think of her with the monster son of Shanks and Smoothie? To think of the two of them being together and possibly (the mere thought making more than a few Marines shudder in fear) procreating and making a brand new monster?
A few of the weaker willed Marines were fainting at the thought. Such a thing would be a disaster for Justice!
A child born with the blood of all four Yonkos in it. A child who would be raised and trained by all four Yonkos and have two monster parents.
A true Satan Spawn. They would say Demon Child but that title was already taken by Nico Robin years ago and a few of them were sweating even heaver as they considered that thought. Nico Robin was deemed to be a Demon Child and had survived a Buster Call and taken out the battleship when she was eight and her father was unknown while her mother was the criminal Nico Olivia. She was the Demon Child and could do things like that from the age of eight years old.
So what the fuck kind of monster would the spawn of the Yonkos produce if they were allowed to procreate?
"We can not allow the two of them to marry and create a child. For the sake of Absolute Justice such a child should never be allowed to exist!" Akainu roared as he stood angrily, his chair melting into magma as he did so and more than a few marines agreed with him. Such a child should never be allowed to be born. They had to prevent the marriage and resulting child of the two evils no matter what the cost!
"That's assuming one doesn't already exist." Kizaru said as he and Aokiji kicked back in their chairs content to let the hotheaded colleague do most of the heavy lifting and burn himself out.
"What?!" Akainu turned to the two other Admirals who gave grim looks.
"They aren't civilians or Marines with standards. They're pirates." Aokiji reminded everyone who gave him 'no duh' looks.
"Unlike us they probably don't care if they're married." Kizaru said slowly, well slower than normal as if to highlight the difference between them.
"Shanks isn't married to Smoothie. Big Mom might marry and marry off her kids but we don't know for sure if Shanks and Smoothie are married. Kaido isn't married or else we would know. Whitebeards never been married. These two brats, Straw Hat and Kaidos Kid, they were raised around pirates. Not just any pirates but Yonkos and their crew." Aokiji pointed out all of that as he stared coldly at the other marines. He was one of the few who was going to use gender neutral terms until they were sure of what terms Kaido's Child would actually use. He wasn't like Akainu and he refused to misgender anyone. Marine or Pirate.
"What's your point?" Akainu growled out as he glared at the two of them.
"Perhaps there's a reason the Spawn of Kaido isn't traveling with Straw Hat now? She's been training longer than he has, is presumably stronger than him…and yet is being kept safely in Wano. You don't think there might be a reason for that?" Kizaru asked raising an eyebrow at everyone in the room.
"But the two are merely courting not married?!" One of the vice-admirals asked looking horrified at the implications.
"Again they're pirates. You think they care about that?" Aokiji asked raising an eyebrow at them himself now.
Akainu roared and slammed his magma covered hands into the table in front of them, burning it to bits.
"She's likely pregnant with his spawn now! That's why they aren't traveling together!" Akainu snarled and more than a few Marines paled drastically as they realized what the other two Admirals were pointing out. Pirates didn't care for laws or social conventions. They had children out of wedlock all the time…so why would the spawn of Yonkos be different?
More than a few members of the Yonkos crew were going to be laughing their asses off once they realized that the Marines were scaring themselves shitless for no reason.
