Is there no alternative to this? I mean, it's been two weeks! And for god's sake, I am running and running!
[You were a cop back then. You should know the importance of running.]
Yes? I know that! But still... all the continuous running has just improved my stamina reserves. Strength? Not even an ounce. So, how do you expect me to hold a sword without falling along with it? I am up for ideas, so shoot whatever you have.
[You can get a gun.]
Gun? From where?! This world hasn't yet been graced with the presence of guns. So, if I don't make it... wait a minute... I can get a gun! You are a system, and I am pretty sure you will give me something like a power or an ability, right?
[Wow! You are really greedy, aren't you? Sorry, Leahlya... but I can't do that. It's not that you won't get something from me... but it's not what you desire.]
Blunt. It's too blunt. So, what do I do now? No, there's a way. Right! Isn't there a male lead who specializes in building things? Maybe, he can build the gun for me.
[But where will you get the blueprints?]
Can you get them?
[Fine. I can.]
You know, I am sure your higherups will like to help me more. You can talk about it, can't you? I need some more resources to work this out. Are we on the same page? Of course, we are.
[We will see about that. Tell me about the guns first.]
Hmmm... Glock G42, Remington 870 Marine Magnum and Desert Eagle. Of course, there will be some modifications later on... but just give me the blueprints for now. Modifying can wait.
[Give me one day. I will get back to you with the blueprints.]

Leahlya was once again running in the fields. It was her sixtieth round. The knights nearby were sympathizing with her plight. Suddenly, the knights started discussing amongst themselves.
"She has been running for two hours."
"It won't be long before she faints. Although, she looks cute like this."
"Shush... are you out of your mind?! If Marquis Argaentine hears you, he will just rip out your tongue."
"Hey! I was just saying! It's not that I have a filthy mind! You are!"
"Stop you two! It's not time to discuss this. What I am curious is, Lady Leahlya's decision. It has been all over the newspaper. You have seen it right?"
Luke was hearing the knights' discussion. It wasn't his intent to hear them... but he could hear their voices.
"They call her 'cute?' Huh?" Luke whispered to himself. He observed Leahlya intently and shook his head. No, he was out of his mind to even remotely think her as cute. She was a demon, wasn't she? He still remembered the day when he met her first. It was in the early autumn, when his mother just had passed away... he saw her at a ball. It was as if she was a porcelain doll, standing behind her father. He was so enamoured by her; he remembered tugging on his father's pants and asking a very 'stupid' question.
"Who is she, Father?" asked a ten-year old Luke.
His father smiled at him and said, "She is Marquis Argaentine's daughter. Why do you ask this question?"
Child Luke replied, "She looks like the doll that you had brought for Dora."
Luke's father just chuckled at his words and patted his head. He asked, "Do you want to talk to her?"
Child Luke blushed in embarrassment and shook his head in denial. He hissed, "No! I don't want to!"
"Good. I have heard Marquis is quite a father. So, unless you want to get whacked by him... you should not approach his daughter. Do you understand?"
Luke remembered that he heeded his father's words and didn't approach her that time. Although, soon changed after he got to know her at another party. The 'doll' was a 'demon.' Both of them quickly became enemies. One thing that frustrated him was Leahlya's 'attacks.' It was never physical... she always attacked mentally. Physical pain? He could handle. Not the mental pain.

[... Marquis Argaentine lost his position after accusing Duke Karlos wrongly. We all know that his daughter is one heck of a troublemaker, making enemies everywhere, especially Count Luke Carthdow. He really hates her. Of course, her whole fiasco with the Imperial Prince Xandeare, who lost his position due to her antics. Now, the 'Broke' Lady Leahlya wants to try something new, a whim to be certain. She is obviously going to cut the olive branch extended by His Majesty, a chance for Marquis Argaentine to return. The question is: HOW SPECTACULARLY IS SHE GOING TO FAIL?
Remember citizens, let's see what she does. Although, we are sure she isn't going to make the front page. Never.]
A silver-haired man, with dark blue eyes put the newspaper on his desk. A woman, who was his secretary stood up. She asked, "Your ex-fiancé has made some severe choices, I see. What do you think, Your Highness?"
Prince Xandeare glared at her and yelled, "I don't care! She can do whatever she wants! If you remember, it was because of her I lost my position, right?"
The secretary sighed, "I am serious about this, Your Highness. What if she uses this to get back at you?"
"How do you think she can get back at me with being a private investigator? Our empire has no private investigators. Of course, there is Red Knights, but no. There is no chance of her pestering me again."
Shrugging, she said, "Are you sure? You don't know what she can do. You remember that incident clearly. The one, where you refused to meet her because you were drinking your afternoon tea in your garden. Angered by your attitude, she burned the whole garden to make you come out of it."
"So, what do you think I should do?"
She replied, "You should talk to His Majesty. Maybe, he will rethink his decision."
"No, he won't. He made it pretty sure when I asked him the first time."
"So, no choice for you then."
Xandeare sighed, "Yes."
