Chapter 36 — Fall of the Living Realm1. When Divinity Collides
The sky was no longer sky.
It had become a canvas of war between two impossibilities:
A golden Eye, pulsing with authority older than names.
A walking void, the Demon God, grinning like death that had read the ending of the book.
The Eye spoke once more.
"YOU EXIST BECAUSE I LOOKED AWAY."
"NOW I SEE YOU."
The air became a wall of pressure. Cultivators not built for divinity collapsed, unconscious, their spirit roots boiling.
The Demon God raised one hand—and all that force snapped away like brittle glass.
"This world forgot how fragile it is," he whispered.
Then he turned his head—toward the twins.
2. The Escape Plan That Isn't One
Haneul's eyes widened.Haeun was already moving.Jin Haru, still bleeding at the knees, clenched his fists and forced himself upright.
"We run," Jin said."We survive."
"Where? The realm is collapsing!" Haeun shouted.
"Then we fall with it," Haneul said. "And we land where it lets us."
3. The Realm Tries to Help Them
The Realm of Life, though breaking, still remembered its creators.
And it remembered the Nameless One's bloodline.
Spiritual corridors opened—fragments of space bent like arms trying to pull them through, funneling them toward a ritual gate carved into the mountain spine.
Jin carried Haeun, who was flickering between phases from raw spiritual exposure.Haneul sliced through collapsing Qi storms with palm strikes that left ink-colored cracks in reality.
Behind them, the Demon God smiled.
"Run, little inheritors."
"Let me show you what power means."
4. Judgment Follows
The Demon God raised both hands—then clapped.
Once.
The echo split the sky open.A pressure wave collapsed miles of terrain, crushing mountains into ash.Dozens of floating palaces, sect temples, and soul vaults exploded in cascading golden fire.
The sky screamed.
Reality screamed.
The Eye blinked once, and tried to close the gap—but it was too late.
The Demon God hurled a second strike. Not energy.
History.
He ripped a sealed memory from the world and weaponized it.A single moment of the Nameless One's final death—twisted, distorted, and fired like a cannon at the twins.
5. Final Gate, Final Fall
The trio reached the collapsing Spirit Gate just as the memory-blast hit.
Jin threw both twins through the light, screaming the only chant he knew that could stabilize the route.
"Drop us ANYWHERE the world will take us—JUST DROP US!"
The gate burst open like a star imploding.
And the Realm of Life—
Shattered.
It didn't crumble. It didn't explode.
It was deleted.
The golden Eye screamed in divine code. The Demon God laughed. And Jin Haru, Haeun, and Haneul were thrown down, down, down—
6. The Mortal Realm, Reawakened
A calm forest.Mid-autumn. Mist curled between bamboo.
And then:
BOOM.
The air above it cracked—
Three bodies hit the ground hard, slamming through centuries-old trees and flattening an entire hill.
Silence.
Then coughs.
Then groans.
Jin lay unconscious, face bleeding, spirit core fractured but intact.
Haeun twitched, one eye open, aura burning.
And Haneul sat up slowly, covered in blood and divine script that refused to fade.
He looked around, breathing heavy.
"...We made it."
"We're back."
But the air wasn't quiet.
Birds were gone. Wind, stilled.
And high above the clouds—the crack they fell from was still open.
