"The sun's about to set. Hey Usopp, you can come down and get ready to go to sleep. I'll be on the lookout tonight."
"Aye, Captain"
Yesterday, after a fight with the black cat pirates, I turned in Captain Kuro and got his bounty. Sixteen million berries can do us some good. In the original storyline, his cook, who looked like him, got executed for some reason. I felt like there was a good chance he would escape. I warned him not to go to Syrup Village if he did, but thanks to that, I got a good skill from him. But unfortunately, I didn't get the hypnotic ability from his first mate, Jango, as Zoro already defeated him. [Open]

I acquired Unconventional Strategies from Captain Kuro and improvisational Abilities from Usopp. I also acquired creative swordplay from Zoro right before we got to Syrup Village. The problem is those guys. I'm getting better, but those guys need the improvement more than I do. Hey, as the captain, I will have to take one for the team.
I remember a few years back, once I was delighted with my progress, I got this crazy idea that maybe I could improve Luffy's abilities, and I did. Still, the problem was that it was a steeper price I had to pay, a few more points than it would've taken if I were upgrading my abilities, but hey, it's better than those guys I recruited to die because I could help them, I chose not to.
So from now on, I'll be upgrading everyone's abilities after every battle we get into against another crew.

I jumped into the sea to fill the empty spaces in my pocket dimension with seawater, steadily absorbing it without any significant drawbacks.
I wonder what I'll do if Nami isn't in Cocoyashi village right now. Do I wait for her, or do I go and track her down? Well, let's go there first, then decide what I will do if she's not there.
Well, regardless of whether Nami is here or not, I'll deal with Arlong and his gang. I don't appreciate the way he and his guys treated Cocoyashi village. The only island, if he were to do that, I would let slide would be Foolshout Island.
Fisher Tiger brought Koala back home after being a slave, and they turned around and backstabbed him. Just thinking about it ticks me off. The only reasonable excuse they have is if the world government threatens to Buster Call them or something; if that were not the case, they're scum, no, they're worse than scum. That's why I'm glad I'm not Luffy, I'm not Nika, I'm not a warrior of liberation, I'm just a filthy pirate, I do what I want, I'm not a hero, I'm just the one and only child of the king of pirates, so therefore, in my book, I'm next in line.
So, in other words, if Arlong went after them, I might've even given him a hand, but he hates all humans. I can't let that slide. He's hurting people. People, as far as I'm concerned, are not responsible for the pain they're suffering. If someone hurts you, you have the right to bring that person pain, as no one has suffered before, but you can't hurt other innocent people just because you're in pain.
