Chapter 34 - normal convo

Scene — "Kon's Calm and Khione's Touch"

---

The brush keeps moving — the painting of Kon and the shy servant girl takes shape.

The girl at his side tries not to shake under his hand on her shoulder.

Khione sits close — leans in — her cold fingertip slides along Kon's wrist, then up to his sleeve.

Khione (soft, teasing smile):

> "You know, Kon… you're very sweet for a king of cruelty."

Kon tilts his head slightly — his cold grin cuts across his face, fangs hidden behind perfect teeth.

Kon (calm, low voice):

> "Is that so? Coming from you, Ice Queen… that's dangerous praise."

His eyes flick up — hold hers without blinking.

Kon (leans closer, voice quiet so only she hears):

> "But if we're praising beauty… then I must say — you're far more beautiful than any realm I've burned."

Khione's cheeks flush just a hint — her cold breath fogs in the warm hall.

Victor bends at Kon's ear — whispers something quick, too low to hear.

Kon's smile doesn't break — but his eyes sharpen.

He flicks two fingers — Victor steps back.

Kon looks at Nerose across the table — and then at the other gods staring.

Kon (calm, amused):

> "Seems next time we should finish this. Right, Victor?"

Victor bows slightly — says nothing.

Khione watches him — curious — but Kon just taps the table once with his fingertip.

Kon (to Nerose, soft but clear):

> "Even among gods, there's still terror, Lord Nerose. Terror never leaves — not for humans, not for us."

Nerose lifts his wine cup, smirks — agreeing with a tilt of his head.

Around them, other gods whisper — quiet, uneasy.

Kon lifts his hand from the servant girl's shoulder — brushes her hair back once, gentle — then turns his eyes back to Khione.

Kon (soft laugh, cold):

> guess it's should be fun

Scene — "Kon Watches the Chaos"

---

The divine hall rumbles — far-off echoes of other dimensions shattering slip through the marble pillars.

Outside the barrier, entire sky-realms crack and fall into voids — pieces of other gods' domains flicker and die.

Kon sits back in his seat — crosses one leg over the other — fingers drumming once on the armrest.

His eyes barely blink — calm — amused.

He turns his head, just slightly — looks at Fuko.

No words.

Fuko nods — like he hears a silent command.

With a swirl of his black coat, he vanishes from Kon's side — leaping into the chaos beyond the divine hall's gate.

A roar shakes the outer walls — Fuko's blade tears through enemies in the distance — shadows of strange invaders scatter.

Other gods glance at Kon — some stand, tense — but Kon doesn't even rise.

Nerose leans closer, smirking.

Nerose (dry laugh):

> "Lord Kon… you sit so calmly while the realms burn. You think you can stop what's coming?"

Kon's eyes shift — cold flicker — a cruel, perfect smile.

Kon (soft, dismissive):

> "Guess it's fine, Nerose. We were invited guests, after all. If I'm not wrong — there are guards meant to protect us. So… why worry?"

Another tremor — distant shrieks — more pieces of dimensions fall like glass.

Fuko reappears by Kon's side — sword dripping dark.

He kneels slightly, tilts his head.

Fuko (calm, breathless):

> "Handled most of it, my lord."

Kon doesn't even look at the blood — just nods once, pleased.

Kon (low chuckle):

> "Good work, Fuko. That's nothing though… right?"

Fuko gives a rare grin — deadly sharp — says nothing.

Other beings now rush to fight too — inspired by Kon's stillness. Nerose gestures — one of his best guards storms out into the battle, joined by two more.

Kon shifts in his seat — locks eyes with Nerose.

Kon (half-whisper, grin widening):

> "They should know by now — they're not fighting mortals. We're a threat they'll remember."

Victor stands quietly behind Kon's chair — hand resting on his sword hilt, eyes closed, calm.

Remji's footsteps echo — he stalks out toward the battlefield too.

Kon's gaze lifts slightly — eyes half-lidded — amused by the destruction.

Nerose (murmur, almost impressed):

> "Lord Kon… what do you see happening to Earth — to all these realms — in the end?"

Kon freezes — just a heartbeat — then that smile returns, cruel and gentle at once.

Kon (low, final):

> "Of course, Nerose…

He says nothing more.

The hall trembles again — the scene cuts to black.
