FIRST DISAPPEARANCE - Anjali Kumari, 28th November 1996)
Anjali Kumari, who is a tourist, comes to the hotel Ravenmoor at 11:53 PM. She was in search of a room. She went to the reception and asked to the receptionist that were there any vacant rooms or not? . The receptionist replied Of course, madam, we have 5 vacant rooms: 1 Deluxe, 2 Super Deluxe, 1 Twin, and 1 Single Room. What kind of room do you require, ma'am the receptionist asked. Anjali replied I need a single room for three days.
The Receptionist said, "OK, Madam." He took the money from Anjali and handed her the keys to room 801. The Receptionist further said the room was on the eighth floor, and the elevator was on the right. He said, "You leave your luggage here, and our staff (Aakash) will give you the luggage to your room."
Anjali said Thank you and moved towards the elevator. She pressed the button, and the elevator came. She saw the elevator operator. The elevator operator asked, Which floor do you want to go to, madam ?. Anjali replied, stifling a yawn, 8th floor. The door closed. Anjali looked at her watch it was 12:03 AM. The door opened, she moved towards her room and went into the room. The room was small, but it was wonderful. She could see the apartments, roads and vehicles parked nearby. After five minutes, she heard a knock on the door: "Thak-thak." She opened the door and was amazed as there was no one outside. She was about to close the door, but suddenly she looked at her luggage kept in front of her room on the floor. She was shocked by the behaviour of the staff, but she never minded.
She was feeling hungry, so she called the reception and asked if there was something to eat.
The receptionist replied, "Sorry, madam our kitchen is now closed," as it is too late now. But we will provide you with breakfast at 7:30 in the morning, the receptionist said. Anjali replied, no problem She cut the phone, but suddenly she realised she was carrying an apple with her. She took the apple out of her bag and started eating it. The next morning, when Champa (the housekeeping girl ) knocked at the door, there was no response from inside. She continued to knock for 15 minutes, but still there was no response. She went to the reception and told them that she had been knocking on the door of room 801 for 15 minutes, but there was no response from inside. Then the manager opened the door with the help of a master key the room looked like there was no one present in the room. He saw a half-eaten apple that had fallen on the floor. Suddenly, the door of the bathroom opened "The manager got scared he went inside trembling with fear he saw that there was no one in the bathroom as well then he looked at the wall. He got scared for a moment because on the wall it was written this room belongs to me the people who will come in this room will never go out . The manager went screaming out of the room .
