Chapter 115 - chapter_115

A knock sounded on the library door, and Matthew walked in.

Diana shot him a glare, those damn scenes from earlier replaying in her mind in vivid, excruciating detail.

+Get up and come down... lunch is ready.

Diana kept her eyes fixed on her book, refusing to look at him.

-I'm full for now. I'm not coming. I'll wait until Jacob gets here.

Matthew let out a scoff. Oh, she was sulking now.

+He's not coming anytime soon. His work's gonna run until evening.

-Whatever! I said I'm full.

Matthew didn't say a word. He strode over to her, tossed the book aside, scooped her into his arms, and lifted her clean off the chair.

-Hey... why do you always do shit like this out of nowhere?

+Hold on tight so you don't fall.

-I dont want to.

Matthew's hand came down hard on her ass with a sharp smack. She was getting bolder and brattier by the day.

-Ow... don't hit me...

He smacked it again.

-I said don't... damn you... it hurts.

+Then you remember what I told you last night, don't you?

Diana paused for a beat, then slowly wrapped her arms around his neck.

She murmured softly,

-I remember.

Then....

-Oh... lean down a little so I can grab my phone. It's on the couch.

She pulled her head back from his neck and looked up at him from inches away, batting her lashes all sweet and coy.

-Please?

Matthew rolled his eyes, utterly exasperated. He shifted one arm under both her thighs and snatched the phone off the couch with his free hand, slapping it into hers.

+Anything else, princess?

She flashed a toothy little grin, then buried her face in his neck like a kitten.

-That's all for now. Thanks.

Matthew stared straight ahead, eyes wide. Why the hell was she so damn cheeky and full of mischief?

He started toward the door, but her voice piped up again.

-Wait... wait... please.

He let out a long, suffering sigh. Diana was the only one who could truly get under his skin like this.

+What now?

-Can you go stand in front of the mirror?

She nodded toward the full-length mirror tucked in the corner of the library.

Matthew was too tired to argue, so he just did it.

He stopped in front of the mirror.

+What do you want?

Diana turned her head.

-I wanna take a picture. Just stay like that.

She opened her camera app and angled herself a little toward the mirror. Matthew glared straight into the lens with a scowl.

She snapped a few shots, shifting slightly for different angles.

-Look at these. They're giving total Pinterest vibes. Just turn around so your back's to the mirror? I swear this is the last one.

Matthew turned without a word.

Diana took a couple more, then pressed herself closer against him.

She softly brushed her lips over the pulsing vein in his neck and kissed it.

-Thank you.

His hands tightened on her thighs as he started walking again. he loved how soft she felt. he gave her ass a few deliberate squeezes in his grip.

- still hurt from last night. Can you not squeeze so hard?"

He hummed thoughtfully.

+How the hell is your waist so tiny and your ass this fucking perfect, huh?

-Stop

+I'm serious. Not one of those gross overdone ones. It's just... perfectly shaped.

And he squeezed again.

This time it was Diana's turn to smirk.

-Well, lucky me, then.

He pulled her body flush against his with a low growl.

+Lucky you? You don't fuck yourself. I'm the one with this view.

-Then lucky you for getting to fuck me. you should be grateful you have me. You know how many people would kill to be in your place?Hmm?

Matthew gently set her down on the kitchen island counter, his voice low and warning.

+Alright. Enough with the bratty mouth. Let's wait till those marks heal... then we'll see.
