Chapter 89 - CHAPTER 1: ENTER SHIBUYA

October 31st. Halloween night in Shibuya.

The streets overflowed with people dressed as monsters—only this time, real monsters were walking among them.

Below the surface of the bustling ward, deep in the shadowed veins of the subway lines, a sinister curtain expanded across the city like a suffocating shroud. A thick, cursed barrier stretched through the city limits—no one could enter, no one could leave. The veil was pulsing, alive with a malicious energy that thickened the air like fog.

Beneath it, Mahito walked with a smile too wide to be human.

Beside him, Jogo burned with rage-fueled anticipation.

Trailing just behind, Choso moved with silent menace, clutching vials of blood and hate.

And near them, the withered petals of Hanami clung to the last whispers of cursed energy.

Their positions were spread and calculated. Geto, or rather the man wearing his skin, waited elsewhere with eyes cast toward destruction. Their plan was in motion. And at the center of it all: Satoru Gojo.

They wanted him.

To seal him.

To remove the light from the world.

At the edge of the curtain, the Jujutsu Sorcerers had mobilized. Four teams—four fates.

Team One: Nanami Kento

He stood firm, adjusting his tie with meticulous ease. With him was Megumi Fushiguro, eyes calm but burning with readiness.

"This isn't just another mission," Nanami said grimly. "If things escalate, don't hesitate. We exorcise or we die."

Megumi nodded. "Got it. Let's keep the dying part optional."

Team Two: Mei Mei, Ui Ui, and Itadori Yuji

Perched on a rooftop, Mei Mei surveyed the city with lazy elegance.

"Looks like chaos has a new dress code," she murmured.

Beside her, Itadori tightened his fists. His eyes weren't smiling.

"I can feel them," he said quietly. "The cursed energy is thick down there."

Mei Mei glanced at him with an amused tilt. "Try not to get possessed by Sukuna before we make it through phase one."

Ui Ui simply nodded beside his sister, completely unbothered.

Team Three: Nobara Kugisaki

Alone, but not really.

Nobara strode forward with her signature hammer swinging in her hand. "Solo missions are fine," she muttered. "I prefer the silence—less idiots talking."

But she didn't walk alone for long.

"Need backup?" Maki Zenin appeared beside her, adjusting her glasses.

"Thought you hated team-ups," Nobara said.

"I hate wasting time more."

They exchanged a look—cold, sharp, deadly. They were ready.

Team Four: Satoru Gojo

He walked alone.

Because that was the point.

Because when you're the strongest, you don't need a team.

Because they wanted him, and he was coming.

Gojo Satoru cracked his neck, adjusted his blindfold, and walked through the crowd of unsuspecting humans in Shibuya Station.

A smile played on his lips.

"I hope they brought their A-game," he said aloud to no one. "Because I'm not holding back."

And so, the first threads of the nightmare began to tangle.

The Shibuya Incident Arc had finally begun.
