CHAPTER 22
Feilong was panicked as he caught Fusheng, because her body was scalding hot. It was already late and everywhere was dark, Feilong hurriedly cast an invisibility spell and hurriedly carried Fusheng to her room.
Feilong had lived for several centuries this he was sure of infact he could no longer remember how he came into existence, and he had seen many types of people, powerful and what not. He had also helped many people repair their meridians, he knew all the processes involved and every single reaction they would have, but nothing he had seen prepared him for the scene he witnessed that day.
He did not know what was happening with Fusheng, before today he always believed that Fusheng was a normal girl that wanted to take revenge on her treacherous family and regain her grandfather's legacy and status. But he should have known that she was not normal when he saw the type of poison that was administered to her; that poison was not ordinary, even with him having been around for several centuries he could still count the number of times he had seen that poison on his one hand which was not much, and there was no way for that woman that was Fusheng's stepmother to have gotten that poison no matter how she tried, which means someone more powerful had already been targeting Fusheng.
In all his years of cultivation he had only heard about the Legendary Phoenix in books and scrolls, he had never seen one, and every Phoenix described was always red, he had never heard about a White Phoenix, and the sweet osmanthus fragrance was a bigger mystery. For the first time in a long while Feilong was confused and lost.
Feilong looked at her unconscious body still flushed with fever and sighed "Little ancestor, who exactly are you?"

Feilong kept watch over Fusheng throughout the night, her fever did not come down till early the next morning. He hurried over to check her pulse and also to find out the state of her dantian and meridians, he had tried to check this during the night, but her entire body system was chaotic and he could not tell what was exactly wrong.
As he checked her pulse he couldn't help but widen his eyes, this was because Fusheng's cultivation had leaped through bounds, it could not even be explained. In all the cases of repairing people's meridians and dantian that he had witnessed, once their meridians were repaired, it would still be unsteady and delicate, not able to cultivate much for a while before completely healing, then after healing their meridians, they automatically go back to the first stage of cultivation (QI CONDENSATION STAGE), but no! This was not the case of the little ancestor, her meridians are completely healed and the rate at which she is advancing is really too fast, but at this rate Feilong was no longer shocked, this little ancestor was really something.
(Okayyy, so if you're reading this chapter it means that I am back from my absurdly long break, I am so sorry that I did not leave a prior notice. I myself did not know that I will be gone for that long, but school made me do it. The time i posted the last chapter, I was already heading back to school. I thought I would still be able to post at least once a week or something, But this semester in my college shocked, I already had numerous projects and assignments because I resumed late and then barely a month in to the semester we were told to start preparing for our exams. This might be okay if the lecturers provide you with all the materials needed for the exam, but for a student combining two majors; History and International Studies, we had to always research, stay on top with present events in the world and also past events, had to literally find our own materials ourselves, I had no other choice than to leave the book and I did not have a way to let you all know about the long break. I AM SO SORRY. But while I was away, I tried to research on books with similar genres as my book and I learnt a lot from them. So um from this chapter, there will be less about Martial arts and more about Cultivation. This is because I do not know how to write a martial arts book, you can remember that first fighting scene I wrote, how badly written it was, so I decided to focus on cultivation. So in the spirit of cultivation, I will go on to make a list of cultivation stages, that this book will have and follow; this was inspired by a book I read recently and also Chat gpt *smiles* .
Qi Condensation Stage (Líàn Qí Qī) : The first Major cultivation stage, and for the purpose of this book, it divided into nine stages. This is more like the stage for gathering of Qi into the body, and cultivators at this stage can not cast spells.
Foundation Establishment Stage ( Zhù Jī Qī): The second major cultivation stage. It is also divided into 9 stages. Cultivators at this stage begin to cast spells.
Golden Core Stage (Jīn Dān Qī) : The third major cultivation stage. It is also divided into 9 stages
Nascent Soul Stage (Yuán Yīng Qī) : The fourth major cultivation stage. It is divided into 9 stages.
Spirit Transformation Stage (Huà Shén Qī) : The fifth and extremely rare cultivation stage.

Fusheng finally opened her eyes, there was a flash of white in her pupils but they quickly disappeared and turned back to normal. She slowly sat up and held her head. The first thing her eyes saw were the
worried face of Feilong her spiritual Dragon.
Feilong touched her forehead with his hand and asked
"How do you feel now? Can you even recognize me? How many fingers am I holding out?" Then he proceeded to wave 3 fingers in front of her face.
Fusheng gave him an eye roll and threw the pillow at him "You just had to say rubbish. What do you mean by how many fingers are you holding up? You kill joy."
Feilong rolled his eyes "Judging from the way your mouth is running you are perfectly fine." He continued "Can you remember what happened yesterday?"
