"for you."
Dumbledore glanced at the blade held out to him, but didn't take it. "What for?"
"Beard." Grindelwald touched his chin and motioned Dumbledore to look at him. "Shave it off, or Agarth will see it and pluck it out again."
Agarth had plucked out his beard again and again, and he had no other choice but to shave it all off, otherwise it would have looked like it had been bitten by a dog.
'I don't know who this guy looks like.'
Dumbledore's eyebrows jumped, he twirled his index finger, looked at his uneven beard in the mirror in front of the sink, and then reluctantly took the blade handed to him by Grindelwald.
"Perhaps, Agarth just doesn't like your beard."
Dumbledore thought for a moment and put down the blade.
He has been growing a beard for a long time and it is well maintained.
"Give me back the blade." Grindelwald raised his eyebrows, intending to teach Dumbledore a lesson about Agarth's temper, and reached out to take the knife back.
But the hand that took the knife was blocked.
Dumbledore leaned sideways with the blade, moved closer to the mirror, and slowly shaved off his beard.
"Albus, you look better without a beard."
Grindelwald tilted his head, leaned slightly closer, and looked carefully at Dumbledore, who looked much younger after removing his beard.
Dumbledore touched his bald chin, glanced at Grindelwald through the mirror, and leaned to the side.
He hadn't seen him for many years and he wasn't used to the person in front of him being so close.
"Agarth..." Dumbledore thought for a moment and then asked, but was interrupted by Grindelwald before he could ask the next question.
"In the year of the Blood Oath, I took a portion of your blood. That's how Agarth was created."
"At the time, I only thought about whether I could use your blood to study the Dumbledore family's companion phoenix, but I never thought that I would be able to use this place one day."
Grindelwald did not deny his past calculations.
He was indeed attracted to Albus when he was young. After all, they had the same ideals and the same powerful magic. Who would not like such a companion?
However, young Grindelwald was too arrogant and too confident in himself.
Thinking of this, Grindelwald's eyes darkened. He admitted that he was despicable, but if it were not so, how could he and Albus meet again.
"So you met me with a purpose from the very beginning, right?"
Dumbledore looked directly at the man in front of him. Although he had known this for a long time, when it was actually said through Grindelwald's mouth, all the emotions seemed so pale and ridiculous.
"I just wanted to give my future self a reason to see you." Grindelwald took a few steps forward, but when he saw Dumbledore retreat, he paused and took a step back as well.
"That's why we're meeting today, isn't it?"
Grindelwald lowered his eyes. "Albus, you're truly cruel. For forty-three years, you've ignored my weakness and apologies."
Dumbledore was silent for a long time, but did not say anything. He just sighed, turned around, opened the bathroom door, and walked out.
As soon as he opened the door, Dumbledore saw Agarth fall forward with his ear pressed against the door, making a "Oh my God" sound.
Dumbledore reached out to help Agarth, frowned slightly and asked, "Agarth, what's wrong with you?"
Grindelwald, who was a few steps behind, stepped forward, grabbed Agarth by the collar, and threw him aside.
"He's eavesdropping." Grindelwald stood up straight, his arms folded across his chest, and his voice was low.
"I didn't!" Agarth retorted, standing up straight, stretching his neck and tilting his head back.
But seeing Grindelwald's narrowed eyes, with a malicious look on his face, he took a few steps back and chuckled, "I'm just, just curious, curious, a little curious."
Agarth raised his hand and made a gesture the size of his fingertip.
The two old men, who were nearly two hundred years old in total, just watched Agarth's behavior silently, frowning in unison and looking at each other.
At this moment, the word "understanding" appeared in Agarth's mind.
"Well, I only heard a little bit." Agarth admitted with his head down, but looked at Grindelwald angrily.
"But I'm not someone who shaves anyone's beard!"
"The last time I shaved your beard, it was because you shaved all my hair off! I was seeking revenge!"
As Agarth's voice became more pronounced, Dumbledore's eyes fell on Agarth's shoulder-length hair, and upon seeing the thick mass of fur, he glared at Grindelwald with a questioning look.
'Agarth is a girl after all, how can we let a little girl shave her hair off?' (A/n: Next victim)
But eleven-year-old Agarth is much taller than boys of the same age.
Dumbledore noticed Agarth's unusual height early on. Although he was only eleven years old, the children at Hogwarts were only about 1.6 meters tall when they first entered school, but Agarth was already 1.75 meters tall.
Thinking of this, Dumbledore spoke up to defend Agarth. "Agarth, after all, a little girl. It is not good to be bald. It is understandable that she shaved your beard."
'Yes, she had reason to pull out Gellert's beard, but why did she pull out mine?'
Dumbledore touched his chin uncomfortably and looked at Agarth.
But little did he know that after hearing Dumbledore's words, Agarth's face turned dark in an instant and he stared at him with resentment.
But Grindelwald burst into laughter. He reached out and patted Dumbledore's shoulder gently, saying something meaningful.
"Albus, you have to protect yourself."
"I think I've been forgetting to tell you that Agarth is not a girl."
'Not a girl? How can someone with long hair not be a girl?'
However, seeing Agarth staring at him with increasingly resentful eyes, Dumbledore stopped questioning.
'It's not like there aren't men, um, boys with long hair.'
He is a boy with long hair and is 1.75 meters tall.
"I'll forgive you this time~" Agarth took a few steps forward, took Dumbledore's thin hand with his left hand, and took Grindelwald's hand with his right hand.
"Agarth has a home too."
From the moment they met, although Dumbledore's guard against Grindelwald was obvious, his eyes revealed love for him.
'Maybe this is what people in the previous life said, blood is thicker than water?'
Dumbledore, who was being led away, did not see the warm gaze that Grindelwald cast at him. He just looked at the little hand holding his and thought about the home that the child talked about.
Ever since Ariana left, Aberforth broke his nose and he no longer had a complete family.
A ray of light flashed across Dumbledore's deep blue pupils, slowly chasing the child in front of him and condensing on the smiling little face.
