Sam started getting ready for his classes.
He showered, then wore his uniform. he was doing all this but his mind was somewhere else. he was wondering about the reason why the goddess has taken interest in him and most importantly about akashic.
after some time, he moved towards the door to leave for academy. he looked up, he saw a figure standing outside. it was burot stale, headmaster's assistant. burot looked at sam, his face changed from being calm to surprised. "pfft, you look funny." sam chuckled. listening to what sam said, burot's face returned to his usual poker face.
"my apologies Mr. samuel, you look very different." burot apologised for his reaction just now. "its okay Mr. burot. my change is very noticeable, anyone would be shocked." "but why were you standing in front the door?" sam questioned.
"ahh, the headmaster called for you." burot replied. "oh, i will go to her now." sam said as he turned towards the way to reach headmaster's study. after walking some steps he reached the headmaster study.
sam knocked on the door.
knock. knock.
"come in." voice came from within the room. sam opened the door and stepped inside. he was met with a scene so beautiful that he forgot to breathe.
there in the study, riena was immersed in her work, writing and signing some documents. she was wearing glasses, that added to her charm and made her look like a teacher. "ughh, why is she so freaking beautiful...." sam muttered under his breath but he didn't know she could hear him clearly.
riena was writing peacefully but when she heard what he said, she stopped a shock came to her face but it vanished in a split second before sam noticed. but as soon she looked towards sam, riena's breath hitched, a sudden heat rose to her cheeks. a blush was visible on her face.
"w-what happened to you? w-hat is this? w-w-why do you look so different?"
sam seeing this almost laughed loudly, but he controlled himself. "woah, easy there headmaster." he said to calm her down a little.
hearing this riena took a deep breath and looked at him again. she felt better as she was calm now.
"why do you look so different samuel? its as if you have transformed"
her face calm and ice cold as ever. she asked sam about why he looked diffrent.
"well, i don't know what happened, i remember going to sleep last night but when i woke up today, i was like this."

they both said as the same time. hearing him say this too, she fell into her own thoughts. she came out of her thoughts when sam spoke again " i thought you would know something about it, but it looks like you don't know either"
riena exhaled , "its high likely that this happened because of the blessing." she paused for a bit " but the reason why it happened i do not know"
sam was amused by her reaction but he was also worried if she figured out that he was lying to her.
"but headmaster why did you call me to your study?" he asked the main reason to come here. " i called you here to give you this." she took a book in her hands and handed it to sam.
he looked at the cover of the book.

it was the name of the technique. riena looked at sam as he was staring at the book in confusion. she sighed, then "it's for you. learn it well."
as soon she said that.
his face lit up in a breathtaking smile. seeing this riena felt her world shifting beneath her feet. her heart beating faster and faster. 'what is happening to me? do i li--No!' she shook her head to deny any possibility.
"thank you very much headmaster. but can i ask you the reason why are you giving this to me?" sam asked her. " you want to be a magic swordsmen no? considering that you are in a class of geniuses. you need a good technique. so, train well from now own dont just swing your sword mindlessly. okay?"
she said while looking in to his eyes. but she soon looked elsewhere. 'ugh, even his eyes look more beautiful now. so distracting...' she was screaming in her head like a little girl. 'gosh, you are already more than a century old. why are you reacting like this'
"this...how can i ever repay you now headmaster." sam spoke.
"y-you dont have to repay me anything. but if you insist you can repay me by becoming strong and staying alive. i want to see you graduate from this academy."
riena spoke with all her heart. sam was shocked to see how much she cared for him. a stranger. someone freeloading in her own house.
sam made up his mind to fulfil her wishes. "i promise you headmaster. i will be the strongest. just for you."
"huh"

he bolted out her study in embarrassment.
"Hahaha, what was that? how cute..." she laughed at his reaction. "sigh...this feeling isn't so bad after all"
