"Okay, Mama!"
Weevil sniffled, then spun his massive naginata into the air and brought it crashing down toward Luoyu.
The strike was heavier, fiercer than before.
The slicing wind howled through the ruins.
"Admiral Luoyu, look out!"
Momonga's face twisted in alarm as he saw Luoyu still standing motionless.
Miss Bakkin, not far off, smiled.
Only Luoyu seemed completely unfazed.
BOOM!
A brilliant golden light flared around him.
The naginata was stopped cold.
The shockwave blasted outward like a hurricane.
A five-meter-tall golden Kannon formed behind Luoyu, its many arms glowing, illuminating the battlefield.
"A Devil Fruit user?"
Miss Bakkin's expression flickered with surprise, then hardened.
"No wonder this rookie's so cocky. Let's see how much he's really worth. Weevil—get serious!"
"Don't worry, Mama! I'll kill him and show Dad how strong I am!" Weevil bellowed.
His naginata shrieked as it cut through the air again.
BOOM!
A slash over ten meters long tore through the earth, roaring toward Luoyu.
It carved a path of destruction like a scythe through wheat.
Momonga, already a hundred meters away, tensed again.
If it were one of the other three Admirals, he wouldn't worry.
But Luoyu was new.
And that last slash had nearly killed him.
Before he could speak, two figures appeared beside him.
"Vice Admiral Momonga, we should fall back," Smoker said, helping him retreat.
"We thought Admiral Luoyu might hesitate, but they attacked first. That takes the pressure off him."
Around them, Marines scrambled to evacuate the wounded.
Miss Bakkin and Cavendish both blinked.
"Takes the pressure off"?
What kind of logic was that?
Still, Cavendish, having tasted Luoyu's power firsthand, chose to retreat with the others.
He'd barely moved ten meters when he glanced back—
And saw a massive golden hand shoot forward, catching the incoming slash.
BOOM!
The slash shattered in Luoyu's grip.
Wind howled in reverse.
Cavendish's pupils shrank.
Before he could react, hundreds of golden hands bloomed behind Luoyu like a lotus.
They became a storm of fists, raining down like a monsoon.
BAM BAM BAM BAM!
Weevil, charging forward, froze as the fists filled his vision.
He swung wildly, trying to block.
The fists collided with his blade in a frenzy of explosions.
The shockwaves shredded the ruins for a hundred meters in every direction.
Momonga, now hundreds of meters away, tried to stop and watch—
Only for Smoker to drag him farther.
"Even this far isn't safe?" he thought, dazed.
Miss Bakkin's face stiffened.
She'd thought this new Admiral would be easy prey.
Weevil should've crushed him instantly.
But now?
He was being overwhelmed.
Still, she couldn't back down.
Not before her son became a Warlord.
She gripped her cane and sneered.
"Hmph. Is that all a so-called Admiral can do? You're disgracing the title."
"Is that so?" Luoyu replied calmly.
He looked up at Weevil, still locked in battle with the Kannon.
Golden light flared again—
But this time, it turned blood-red.
"Anger."
Luoyu spoke a single word.
The blood-red light surged, forming a towering Vajra Guardian with a furious glare.
As the Vajra appeared, hidden fists in the void responded to its wrathful gaze—
And joined the Kannon's assault.
Two divine guardians.
Fists and palms rained down like judgment from the heavens.
Weevil vanished beneath the onslaught.
Hundreds—thousands—of fists broke through his defenses.
One struck his chest.
BOOM!
He was launched like a cannonball, crashing into a distant clocktower.
Wind exploded outward in a storm.
Miss Bakkin's eyes spun.
"What is this—Kannon-Vajra tag-team combo?"
This was beyond anything she'd imagined.
As the fists kept coming, she panicked.
"Weevil! Use your full Armament Haki! These attacks are just tickles to you!"
"Okay, Mama!"
Weevil staggered to his feet.
Black Haki coated his body.
But then—
A terrifying aura erupted from Luoyu.
Blood-red Conqueror's Haki surged like a tidal wave.
Even thousands of meters away, Momonga turned pale.
Marines staggered, staring at the crimson qilin coiling in the sky.
"Is this… really Haki?"
"Why does it feel like a natural disaster?"
And through it all—
Luoyu hadn't taken a single step.
Miss Bakkin, caught in the aura, went pale.
She wasn't strong—but she had eyes.
She looked at the qilin in the sky and screamed:
"Admiral Luoyu! Weevil is the Government's chosen Warlord! He's just a child! You can't do this to him!"
Luoyu took a sip of his liquor.
"A child?" he said softly.
"I know. He's a child."
"And I haven't laid a finger on him."
"It's just… seems the heavens are a little fed up."
