Chapter 3 - The New Age Begins

--

> "Meteor strikes across the globe..."

"Massive craters forming in every major continent..."

"Military forces sealing off all impact zones..."

"Are we witnessing the end of the world?"

That was what the news said.

But it wasn't the end.

It was the beginning of something entirely new.

---

Small meteors had fallen in every country.

But these weren't just space rocks — they were purple,

glowing with an otherworldly energy in some regions.

In others, they appeared red, blue, even silver.

They didn't hit cities directly...

But everyone caught in the fall zones died instantly.

And then, the world began to change.

---

People started to awaken powers.

Supernatural strength.

Elemental control.

Telepathy.

Flight.

No one knew why.

But scientists later confirmed:

these meteors — now called Null Stones — emitted a kind of energy that rewrote human biology.

Around 20% of the global population changed forever.

They became something new.

Something powerful.

The world called them:

> New Age People.

---

Governments panicked.

The military stepped in.

Meteor sites were sealed behind towering walls.

Monsters had started emerging from the craters — horrific, mutated beasts born from the meteor's radiation.

Only licensed officials could enter.

To fight the rising threats, society built something new:

Hero Academies to train protectors.

Hunter Guilds to eliminate monsters.

Power Laws to manage and punish those who misused their abilities.

Meanwhile, the remaining 80% — normal humans —

worked to support them as medics, engineers, or logistics teams.

A new order was born.

---

Two years passed.

The world had adjusted.

Some heroes became celebrities, worshipped by millions.

Hunters gained fame and riches for clearing dangerous zones.

The media overflowed with stories of gifted people rising to the top.

But beneath all the noise…

Something ancient had stayed hidden.

---

📍 Crater Site 09 – Eurasian Null Zone

A cave, buried deep within the impact site.

Its entrance was cracked open for the first time.

A squad of three rookie Hunters entered the zone:

Ira – a sharpshooter with glowing golden eyes

Dray – a fire-user with explosive fists

Kael – a strength-type with brute force and zero patience

> "First assignment," Dray said, tightening his gloves.

"Don't get cocky," Ira warned. Her eyes scanned every shadow.

Inside the crater cave, black crystal trees twisted into the stone walls.

The ground pulsed like a heartbeat.

Then—

> "Something's moving!" Kael shouted.

A bear-like monster lunged from the shadows —

its body armored in obsidian crystal,

claws the size of swords.

Dray attacked with fire.

Ira shot its joints.

Kael slammed into it with a roar,

shattering part of the cave floor with one strike.

A glowing rock — like a broken meteor core — cracked wide open beneath them.

None of them noticed.

Except Ira.

Just before leaving, she paused.

Her eyes shimmered.

> "...Wait. I saw something."

"Probably just heat shimmer," Dray said.

"C'mon," Kael added. "Let's report."

They turned away.

Left the crater.

They never looked back.

---

But inside the ruined stone,

a heart began to beat.

Skin regrew.

Eyes opened.

Riyan Solas awakened.

---

Naked, confused, breathing heavy,

he pulled a piece of cloth from the cave wall —

a Hunter's abandoned cloak.

His body was weak,

but alive.

His last memory...

> The train. The light. His grandfather's voice.

And now —

a glowing forest.

Strange air.

A sky full of floating drones and towers far in the distance.

He stepped outside the crater.

> "Where… am I?"

"What happened to the world?"

---

His journey… was just beginning.
