The maids exited quickly and I stood this time at the corridor, sighing.
'This better go as planned:.
I stepped into the kitchen counter and my eyes immediately locked onto a figure above the counter.
Luv stood there, the rainbow blade dancing above on her hand, she looked at me lika a lion looked down at its prey, but little did she know that this prey would not go down easily.
"Oh my.." she spoke, "A measley slave actually noticed my presence, I feel kind of embarrassed" she rubbed her forehead.
'This is exactly what she said in the last live' I guess when I noticed her too early she says that line.
This time I didn't bring any knifes with me only my bare fists, I have to kill her before she feels threatened, 'I have to catch her completely off guard.
I just stared at her sliently as she watched me, "Are you gonna say something... you know?, before I actually kill you.." she sighed waving the knife in the air as if this was another day on the job—probably is though.
I took in a deep breath, then sighed. "If you killed me how will you find the legendary astryx you guys are so desperately looking for " I spoke, a grin crept across my face as I waved her off.
Her brow furrowed, her smile twitched a bit but she immediately regained her composure.
But I noticed.
"Oh you think I would know that the order of paladins are planing to use the weapon against us " I paused, enjoying every moment as Luv's face shifted from confusion to doubt, then horror.
"W-who told you that" her voice cracked a bit.
"You think you're the frist the order sent after the blade?.." I taunted, the news off course wasn't true but the fact I know about their plans has greatly heightened her doubt.
'She'll probably believe me if I say I've killed her brother already..' I internally giggled but I won't go that far.
"Just.. who are you".
[Activating blood ritual frist package]
[All stats increased by five percent.]
'This has happened before, immediately I start talking she'll charge at me.' I internally noted.
"Just come at me.." I stuck out my palm provokingly.
She had had enough.
*Whoosh*, her silhouette flashed.
But this time I saw it.
She sped to my back trying to deliver a killing blow through my heart. But I acted faster, twisting my body in an unnatural angle and delivering a spinning kick to her side so fast it looked like a red blur.
*Boom*
Her eyes widened.
The impact sent her body flying through the kitchen wall, explodimg it into rumble with a deafening boom.
I blinked a few times, the moon rays shot through the massive hole in the walls leading to the outside grass field.
I placed my hand at my back, slowly walking Toward the staggering assassin clutching her roken rib.
Internally I was honestly surprised, I didn't think a single hit was going to do this much damage.
But on my expression I held a dangerously calm demeanor.
"Tch.. ah you bastard" The females assassin gritted her teeth on the grass as I stood over her, eye glowing with a tint of red.
"You.." she looked at me with horror.
"You are not a mere house maid...", she spoke.
I just smiled as she said those words, just yesterday I was a no name but now...
I looked at her with an unreadable expression, fist clenched.
"You're wrong.." I spoke.
She looked at me as I spoke.
"I'm just a humble house maid protectimg his masters property" I smiled.
Could I really kill her?, she laid down in front of me all helpless as I pondered, last time It was a do or die situation, I had no choice but to kill her.
But now..
I looked at the black robed figure as she tried to crawl away, struggling.
I had the choice to either kill her or let her live.
[Kill the target for 2 extra existence stones]
The screen appeared in front of me.
' If I kill her, it will save me more trouble in the future and also give me additional rewards, but that will also affect how I view the ideology of a human life. ' I pondered.
' And If I don't kill her there might be future consequences, but I'm above her level now, I can easy deal with her if nessesary'
In the end.. my conscience won.
I took a horse strap and tied her to a nearby tree, I wasn't sure the strap would hold but considering the weight of her injuries, I don't think she'll try to break free for now at least.
I quickly rushed into the building, to complete my primary mission.
I rushed through the corridors, my pace faster than ever due to the bosst from blood ritual l, my eyes navigated the surroundings as I halted infront of the library entrance.
The two guards stationed there were already long dead, their bodies bleeding out on the surface.
I pushed on the giant doors hard, making a loud creaking sound, as they flew open.
Boom*
A figure crashed into the book shelve in front of me, wavy white hair was tattared and dark blues eyes filled with a calm rage, a slender figure that staggered up to his feet through the rubble of books.
My eyes darted around to see the red robed assassin holding two short sword in his hands glaring at the prince.
The assassins eyes turned to looked at me.
"Looks like we have another guest" he smirked.
The prince threw a glance at me, "QUICKLY LEAVE THIS PLACE!!!" he shouted but it was almost too late.
The red robed assassin was nothing like his sister, even with the blood ritual activated he moved like lightning.
Appearing in front of me in second, I tried to block his stab but I was a fraction of a second too late.
