Chapter 56 - Dirty Fireworks

"All-Encompassing Heavenly Pull!" Pain gently lifted his right hand, unleashing an irresistible gravitational force that yanked Kakuzu toward him. Kakuzu struggled in vain—even his Earth Grudge Fear technique failed to stop it.

"Shinra Tensei!" Pain glared, releasing a repulsive force that hurled Kakuzu backward like he'd hit an invisible steel plate—blasting him away faster than before. Kakuzu spat out a mouthful of ancient blood; he felt his organs shift—yes, his true internal organs, even his hearts. Yet this powerful inhale-and-expel left the S-rank missing-nin Kakuzu severely injured.

"That's Shinra Tensei? It's terrifying… Even my Earth Grudge Fear is useless." He staggered to his feet. "You're strong. Very strong. But you won't make me submit." He seethed: I fought the First Hokage and walked away. Uzumaki Kakuzu will never bow.

Pain smirked. "You'll handle our organization's finances from now on."

"Deal." Kakuzu's pain-induced gut-wrenching "deal" came effortlessly.

Pain silently thought: Dammit, I could've rewritten the world…

Suddenly, Kakuzu froze. A giant black orb—like a sun—hovered overhead.

---

The ominous red-black orb flickering atop Naruto's fingertip is his original technique—a creation inspired by Frieza's Planet Pulverization and Planetary Destruction beams, fine-tuned with the spiral motions of the Uzumaki sealing wheel and his early experiences interpreting malice as chakra. It's essentially a Malice Bomb—absorbing hatred and turning it into immense destructive power. Theoretically, the stronger the malice, the more devastating the attack. And malice can come from Naruto's or others' resentment. The darker the emotion, the stronger the bomb. It's his most powerful move yet—and still nameless.

"'One sack of rice can hold up a two‑story building!'" Naruto murmured as he hovered in the sky—bellowing his chest, each word filled with exaggerated bravado—so that everyone in Kusagakure, ears covered or not, couldn't help but hear. Living or not—you'll hear this. He perfected the spoken "qi" technique like a Saiyan, enough to stun his foes and terrify the village.

As he spoke, the orb dipped lower—with each line from his chant, it sank closer. Naruto intentionally slowed it down—to make them dread and understand their powerlessness. Instant annihilation? Too easy. They must endure the terror they planted.

Villagers froze, watching the "black sun" eclipse their skies. Despair and malice swelled—filling the orb as its power grew. Their own hatred fueled their doom. Like the Spirit Bomb, it had no limit.

"Stop it!" the Great Elder screamed—but elite shinobi emerged from hiding to fight back in vain. Their jutsu couldn't dent the orb. Fitness alone couldn't stop it. Ravenous fear spread.

One shinobi bolted—a young one, afraid to die. But Naruto's hundred shadow clones were ready. The fleeing shinobi didn't escape. None would. Kusagakure was marked for extinction—no one would survive.

"HAHAHAHA! Kusagakure is finished! You're all done! HAHAHA!" The Elder collapsed, laughter trembling with despair. At that moment, Naruto whispered the final line of his chant:

"'Spicy ten‑heaven—'"

Pain—the only passerby nearby—raised an eyebrow. "Looks like even a sack of rice needs spicy sauce." He looked at Kakuzu, who wore a bemused expression.

Naruto tapped the orb, and it fell.

With a thunderous flash, Kusagakure vanished in a blinding white explosion. Earth buckled and cracked. Houses collapsed like fallen meteors. Blasts of scorching heat and monstrous shockwaves ripped the land. A furious storm of dust and wind rose, uprooting trees for miles.

Inside the Seal Space, Kurama roared in delight. "Well done, you little brat! This is finally something satisfying!" As Naruto watched the massive mushroom cloud ascend like a dark flower…

He whispered, "…Dirty fireworks."

Beside him, Karin gazed in awe—he was her hero: strong, merciful, merciless. For the first time, her heart felt ease.

Kusagakure was no more—it was deleted from the map.
