Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Mysterious Family Planning Supplies

It was Saturday, a little past 10 AM.

More than three hours had passed since Murakami Yuu woke up in an unfamiliar environment.

Through observing his surroundings, the chaotic memories in his head, and information gathered from the internet, he concluded that he had transmigrated.

He had a completely new identity, and this was no longer the world he was familiar with.

After mourning and reflecting, he began trying to organize the chaotic memories in his head, hoping to fully absorb and master them, but with little effect.

He changed his approach, found the original owner's diary, and while reading it, sorted through his memories that were tangled like a ball of yarn.

The memories gradually became clearer—the effect was significant.

...

"So, what's the matter?"

Murakami Yuu's tone was calm. Having just sorted through the original owner's memories, his mood was still somewhat complicated, but it didn't affect his normal communication with others.

If he remembered correctly, he didn't seem to have any plans with Eriri today, so why had she come rushing over so early in the morning?

"Speaking of this makes me angry!"

Eriri angrily stood up, slamming both hands heavily on the table.

The sense of discord she had just detected from Murakami Yuu disappeared without a trace in an instant under the impact of her angry emotions.

She gritted her teeth:

"That Kasumigaoka Utaha is too much! Not only did she delay her manuscript for no reason, but she even said my original artwork wasn't up to standard!"

Murakami Yuu frowned and thought for a moment, quickly recalling the situation.

Due to certain circumstances, Eriri had joined a doujin game club and was currently working with club members to create a romance-oriented game.

She was responsible for original artwork, while Kasumigaoka Utaha was responsible for script and text composition. The two had incompatible personalities and frequently clashed.

So she came here to complain and seek comfort?

"What were her exact words?"

Sighing, although Murakami Yuu was somewhat impatient with such matters and wanted to simply send the person in front of him away.

In the early stages of transmigration, before fully integrating into this world, he still planned to temporarily endure and try not to do anything that would create too much of a personality contrast with the original owner, to avoid causing unnecessary trouble.

"Ara, so this is the work Sawamura-san pulled all-nighters for several nights to create? I can see your effort, but for some reason, it feels unexpectedly pitiful. That said, I myself have no problems with it, but whether to actually use it still depends on Ethics-kun."

Eriri lowered her voice and mimicked Kasumigaoka Utaha's tone, then her anger surged up again uncontrollably:

"What the hell! If it weren't for Kasumigaoka Utaha changing her manuscript midway through, making all my initial artwork useless, I wouldn't have had to rush through several nights to produce that kind of artwork."

"The root of the problem is clearly on her side, so why can she act so arrogantly and pick faults with my work!"

Murakami Yuu looked at the exploding defeated dog in front of him and still continued the conversation:

"So, does it need to be redrawn?"

"Of course..."

She looked dejected and slowly sat down, turning her head to the side:

"Tomoya thinks the artwork is usable, but since Kasumigaoka Utaha said that, I'm not willing to accept it. I'll draw even better artwork to make that woman completely convinced."

"Did you just come back from the school club?"

Looking at her neatly dressed school uniform, Murakami Yuu guessed.

"Yes, we discussed it and confirmed the parts that need to be changed. I might need to go into seclusion to rush the work for the next period. I might have to take leave from school for the next few days."

"Ah, that sounds really tough..."

"I wouldn't say it's tough. I just don't want to see Kasumigaoka Utaha's annoying face anymore!"

Eriri's hands on the table slowly clenched into fists.

"I see. Good luck."

Murakami Yuu replied casually, reaching out to open his cola and taking a sip.

Eriri was stunned for a moment. The feeling of something being wrong that she had noticed earlier emerged again, and it was even more obvious.

Murakami Yuu was gentle and understanding. His attitude toward her was always so warm and gentlemanly, giving people a very comfortable sense of intimacy.

He was also very patient in comforting and guiding her through her occasional complaints.

This was how it should be.

But today he gave a completely different impression.

She felt he was somewhat indifferent and seemed a bit impatient, and his words were very perfunctory...

"Yuu, are you feeling unwell somewhere? You don't seem very energetic."

Eriri set aside her own matters and looked at him with concern about his health.

Having known him for so long, she naturally made assumptions first, thinking he was showing such an off side because he wasn't feeling well.

She never imagined that the familiar body in front of her now housed a completely unfamiliar soul.

This sudden concern surprised Murakami Yuu somewhat.

The original owner's excessive niceness wasn't useless after all. Blindly pleasing women had actually produced some effect—the other party was actually actively expressing concern.

But it was just a bit surprising.

"My head hurts a little. Probably didn't sleep well last night."

Going along with her words, Murakami Yuu pretended to pinch the bridge of his nose with his fingers.

What he wanted to do now was quickly understand his situation so he could plan his short-term living arrangements and not fly around aimlessly like a headless fly without goals.

Eriri was somewhat nervous. She stood up and ran to Murakami Yuu's side, wanting to touch his forehead several times but never following through due to shyness, her hands clasped tightly at her chest: "Is there anything I can do?"

"I'm fine. I'll feel better after resting for a while."

Murakami Yuu shook his head, this was a subtle way of issuing an order to leave.

"Then I won't disturb your rest. I'll head back..."

"Mm."

Eriri looked at Murakami Yuu, pursed her lips, wanted to say something but ultimately didn't speak, and slowly walked toward the entrance.

...

Murakami Yuu supported himself with both hands on the washbasin, looking up at the mirror in front of him.

Tall and well-proportioned build, under slightly messy hair was an extraordinarily handsome face. Although overall somewhat thin, this wasn't a problem under the outstanding performance of his perfect features.

Murakami Yuu unconsciously pinched his own cheek.

With this level of looks, debuting as a host and reaching the pinnacle of life would be completely feasible...

Hm? What's that?

He saw something unexpected in the mirror.

Turning around to the toilet area inside the bathroom, he stepped on the foot pedal of the trash can beside him. A half-visible black underwear was slowly pinched up and held in his hand.

He lowered his head to look inside the trash can. Since the trash can was very clean with nothing else inside, he could see very clearly.

Inside was a used transparent condom,

and it looked like it contained quite a lot.
