Joss DelLuca's POV
There is a problem in the back and Luca decided to send me to solve the problem so here I am listening to pack members complaining about things they've gone through in the hands of rogues.
"My house was ransacked by a rogue, he clawed my wife on the face and stole from me." A man said.
"I'm deeply sorry to hear that, write a list of the things that were stolen and send to me I'll take care of it." I massaged my temple, I am already having a headache.
"Alpha we have an issue," Jax my bodyguards said.
"What is going on?" I forgot about the people in front of me and focused on him.
"Alpha Chloe's pack is under attack, some rogues decided to go stir up trouble there, she has asked for help from other Alphas but no one has responded." Of course no one would.
Alpha Chloe is the first female Alpha in the history of werewolves, so many Alphas don't like her because they feel like she is unfit to be an Alpha, they think a woman can't be an alpha but my brother Luca isn't like them. The DelLuca family don't look down on people, the moment you prove that you are capable then we give you the respect you deserve and Alpha Chloe has earned that respect.
"Are you seriously going to abandon us to go help some woman Alpha? She isn't supposed to be an alpha so let them kill her so a man can take her position." The man who had complained earlier said.
I looked at him with a smile, "What did you say?" I asked.
"You heard what I said Mr DelLuca, she is not important as compared to us, you were sent by the Alpha to listen to us so listen to us."
I held his chin and raised his head so he could look at me in the eyes, "How dare you? A man like you can never be an alpha which is why you are still here under someone else, complaining about a rogue attacking your home when you were there. Do you know what would have happened if the rogue had attacked Alpha Chloe instead? He'd be in pieces and she would not be here complaining."
"I'm sorry for what I said Mr DelLuca." He mumbled.
"You should be sorry for yourself." I stood up and left.
When we arrived at Alpha Chloe's pack, it was like a mascara wolves laid on the ground lifeless, both rogues and Alpha Chloe's pack members.
"Some of you should fight here while some should follow me to find Alpha Chloe." I instructed. We all dispersed to the places we are supposed to be.
Before we could reach Alpha Chloe, a group of five rogues attack us. "Look who we have here, it is the lackey Joss, do you still follow your brother's command like some puppet? Are here because he asked you to be here?"
I looked at them with a bored expression on my face. "I'm not here for a chitchat." I replied to them.
One bounced on me just as I finished my statement, he clawed my face. Before he could launch another attack, ripped out his heart and threw it on the ground while it was still beating. He fell like he sack of potatoe.
"Ahhhhh!!!" The others yelled running to me, with their claws, my men and I managed to kill them with ease, some laid on the ground without heads while others without their hearts.
We ran off to find Alpha Chloe, we met right on time to witness how she ripped a rogues head off, I wish that punk who spoke about her could come and see how she handles her problem, like a true Alpha. She looked at me and winked before tossing the head aside like football.
We joined in the fight, it was bloody but I liked it the adrenaline rush was so great it felt like a drug in my system. Fighting with humans is never thus exciting because of how easy they are to kill unlike this skilled rogue who has managed to dodge many of my attacks and has clawed me on the chest and the stomach.
The rogue brought out a weapon, it was a sharpened bone, "When did we start using weapon?" I asked him with a low laughter.
"I made this one myself, it's easy to kill a wolf with, I'm the only one who has it, and I'm going to kill you with it, I'm going to be the rogue that killed Joss DelLuca." He laughed like a Maniac.
His laughter hurt my ears, "Let's test your weapon, come on."
He yelled and launched at me, I dodged every attack while laughing at him. He got enraged and I came at me recklessly, I caught his hand and twisted it, the weapon fell off, I held his neck and lifted him up.
He struggle to breath, clawing my hands but I didn't let go, I continue to increase pressure on his neck. I didn't want to kill him like that, I bend down and picked up his weapon.
"You know, there's a saying in the human world, 'Does who live by the sword die by the sword.' and you are about to die by the thing you created with your own hands." I stabbed his heart and pulled it out and then I stabbed him again and again.
He gagged, coughing on his own blood, his blood fell on my hands, i pulled the weapon and stabbed him again. He gave up the ghost, I took out the weapon and break it into Pierce's. "You should know your place in this world, I mare rogue like you wishing to kill me, you are dreaming too high."
We fought for hours, the rogues kept coming, it looks like they planned to eliminate Alpha Chloe's pack. I stood covered in blood and panting like a dog.
Alpha Chloe was surrounded by three rogues, I know she handle them so I left, walking around looking for civilians in trouble. I heard a distress voice, I searched for the voice, it was hard to pick out the person's scent because of the pungent smell of blood and the people dead.
The person yell again, I ran following his voice, the more he yelled the more I got closer. I saw the little guy trying to fight off a rogue who was trying to take advantage of him.
"Please stop," he begged and tried to push him away but he was weak, the rogue ripped off his clothes.
I ran to the scene, I picked the rogue with ease and throw him far away. The rogue tried to attack me but I caught him sending my hand through his chest and ripping his heart out, he felt like a sack of potatoes.
I turned to guy who was almost violated, he was unconscious. I took off my bloody t-shirt and wore it on him before lifting him up in my arms.
"Where are you going to with Mac? What happened to him?" I heard Chloe's voice behind me.
"His name is Mac?" I asked and she nodded. "He was almost violated but I was there on time but he passed out. I'm taking him to my pack."
"Okay, he is a misunderstood child so be careful with him. And Joss, thank you for coming to my aid, you've saved me and my pack." Chloe said with a smile.
"It's no issue Alpha, I Know you'd do same for us if we were in your shoes.... I'll take my leave now." I lifted Mac, I wanted to shift into my wolf but I was worried he might fall off so I decided to just carry him like that in my arms like a princess and walk to my pack.
