The curses were shrill, making it sound like Qin Feng was harassing He Mei.
Qin Feng turned around, only to see a sleazy-looking guy glaring at him.
The man had a buzz cut, looked about thirty. In broad daylight, he wore a tank top and floral shorts, skinny as hell, with tattoos running down his arms.
This was none other than He Mei's husband, Du Zhicai.
Qin Feng frowned and said, "Man, don't be so filthy-minded. I'm not interested in your wife!"
He Mei quickly pulled her husband toward the house, saying, "Du Zhicai, could you stop acting crazy here?"
Du Zhicai slapped He Mei in the face, pointed at her and yelled, "You slut! If I hadn't felt sorry for you and married you back then, would you even be living in the city? Look at the way you dress, always like some fox spirit, acting like I don't exist!"
He Mei covered her pretty face, sobbing loudly, "Du Zhicai, you bastard!"
She stepped inside, slammed the door shut with a bang.
