Li Ningyuan hopes that after Liou Yuan has eliminated this Calamity-level Star Evil, he can follow the Second Commander of the Slaughter Blade Camp back to the Sect.
"I knew it, it's nothing but slaying a late-stage Foundation Establishment Calamity-level Star Evil, the Second Commander alone would suffice, what reason is there for mobilizing so many?"
Liou Yuan slowly put down the Jade Scroll, seeing through Li Ningyuan's hidden scheme at a single glance.
"On the surface it's to punish the Star Evil, but the real intent must be to seize me and escort me back to the Nightmare Demon Palace."
When all is said and done, Liou Yuan still isn't a man of the Slaughter Blade Camp; Li Ningyuan has no authority over him, so he might as well send someone to forcibly bring him back.
This is exactly the style of Demon Cultivators—when the people from the Slaughter Blade Camp arrive, the matter of staying or leaving would not be up to Liou Yuan anymore.
