Red Griffin Castle, fourth floor.
In the old Count's bedroom, heavy curtains blocked the sunlight, allowing only slivers of light to illuminate the old Count's pale face.
The maid Caitina cautiously pushed open the door, tiptoeing into the room.
"Bringing me news again?"
The old Count detected the movement, opened his eyes with a smile,
"Which guard and maid are getting together this time?"
Caitina smiled wryly, "Lord Earl, it's official business today."
With that, Caitina walked to the bedside, leaned over to the old Count's ear, and whispered a few words like the buzz of a mosquito.
The old Count's cloudy eyes were filled with surprise, and he struggled to sit up.
But his frail body only allowed him to barely lift his upper body.
"So soon?"
The old Count looked at Caitina's serious expression and asked, "How did you do it?"
"I'm sorry, Lord Earl, there are things I can't tell you; I don't know much myself."
