Looking at the wounds lingering on the Medusa's body, Gauss could faintly piece together the course of the battle through his Talent Heart String.
Battles had been breaking out all around Warren Castle, but the clash here was undoubtedly the most perilous. Leaving Aaliyah, Ying, and Hephaestus to deal with an Extraordinary Medusa on their own was indeed asking a lot of them. The power gap created by the Extraordinary threshold was simply too vast. It wasn't something that could be bridged by sheer numbers, not even for a fleeting moment.
High above, Hephaestus pulled out of its dive and climbed to a safer altitude. It looked at its master floating in the sky, then down at the Medusa that had driven them to such a miserable state. A spark of excitement danced in its eyes. Its master had finally arrived to back them up! It wanted to see if this humanoid monster could remain so arrogant in the face of its master.
