Before arriving at the main hall, Zelos Hill and Perianla finally got a clear look at Yu Zhun. Both frowned almost simultaneously.
When they entered the thirty-first floor, they used their detection methods to confirm that there were people in front of both Teleportation Arrays, and neither of the pillars of light had turned white yet. Realizing they had to choose a player as their opponent, the two had a brief discussion and ultimately decided to pick the player who had been in the lead all along.
On one hand, they were already very close to the thirty-third floor. If they wasted time fighting the player in second place, it was highly likely that the one who had led the whole way would reach the thirty-third floor directly. On the other hand, and most importantly, on the initial twenty-third floor, Zelos Hill had very likely encountered that same leading player!
