The swirling storm battered against the car, with the surrounding walls of water closing in. The boy and girl watched the rearview mirror, not sure why they felt an intense sadness rushing at them, threatening to swallow them whole in this tempestuous storm.
They tried to open their mouths to shout, but no sound came out. All they could see was the man's silhouette getting farther and farther away, seemingly directly under the Giant Beast's feet.
