There's this group of Bright Society moles left in the Desolate Realm—if they're allowed into the World Dungeon, who knows what kind of chaos they'll stir up.
He wasn't worried that striking directly at Totem would startle the snake in the grass; White Wolf's death wouldn't stay hidden for long. As soon as they discovered White Wolf's Death, they'd be able to deduce from his death that Peace had appeared in the Midnight Graveyard Dungeon, and then start worrying that they were already exposed and go into hiding.
After all, across the whole Desolate Realm, there were only a handful of people capable of killing White Wolf, who possessed Hati Divinity; and those who could kill him before he even had time to quit the dungeon were fewer still. It would practically be hard not to guess it was him.
What they had to do now was race against time and take out as many as they could before Totem reacted.
