"UGH! Shut up already!" He pushed himself up and glared at the source of noise. His phone alarm was beeping.

Swiping the phone he aggressively swipes up, ending the alarm.

"Quiet." He stared at his phone still on–

[Monday 13th October 2025 - 07:02]

"Bloody hell." He tosses the phone down next to him before faceplanting back into the pillow.

'Back to Uni today… So fun, yaaay.' He thought, depressed at the idea of going outside his house.

He lay face in pillow for what felt like hours before sighing and getting out of bed to clean himself up.

Coming down stairs after his shower, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers, he glances at his hair in the mirror noticing how messy it still is.

'I deal with it in a minute, but first a heavenly coffee.' He would pray to God and thank him for coffee if he wasn't addicted to caffeine because of it.

A few minutes later he's sitting at his dining table, coffee in hand. As they glanced around the room taking in the mismatch of colours he once again showed a regretful smile. 'I really should have looked in person before buying this place.'

He was too lazy to paint over it or try to buy new furniture that didn't make the room look like a unicorn threw up all over the place.

–Ding–

Looking down his phone a notification popped up.

[Train Ticket - Yearly - £79.99 - Status: Paid]

He winced at the exuberant cost. 'And to think they were half of that last year.'

Checking his bank account quickly he winces once again at his balance.

[£268.21]

He doesn't get paid until the end of the month and he still has to buy food for himself.

"I wish I'd wake up one day and see a billion in there… I can at least dream, right?" He chuckled before finishing his coffee and leaving the house.

–Crash–

"WHAT!? What do you mean by the wrong account!? How do you send €1,172,115,000 to the wrong account!?" A middle-aged man swept his desk clean in pure disbelief. His cigar even fell out of his mouth. He stared shocked at the man before him.

The man's brow rose, 'Isn't that a very specific amount?' He thought his boss seemed to have a good memory.

–Thud–

He flinched as his boss hammered his fist down on the desk.

"Find It…" He mumbled.

"Uh…Boss?" His boss then shouted.

"Find It!" With that the man nodded before running out of the room.

–Achoo–

He sneezed just stepping onto the uni grounds, 'Don't tell me I got a cold already, it's not even been an hour since I left.' He wiped his nose before stepping into his personal hell, education.

"Another year of boredom, another year of crap, another year of…

…Another year of monotony, yeah that works.' He smirked at himself.

–Beep– –Beep– –Bee–

"Damn it." Groggy and reluctant he sat up in bed, 'Another day, another lecture.' He moves to the end of his bed, opening his bank account.

A force of habit of his.

"…

…Huh?" His breath caught in his throat. "What the hell?!" He rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

"Nope, still there. Is this a dream?" He pinched himself slightly wincing. 'Not a dream then.' Glancing back down–

"But really?"

[£1,000,000,268.21]

His bank account showed over one billion pounds. He tapped on the screen to open another panel making sure it's not a glitch. Yet it showed up again, along with the transaction information.

'How wasn't this even flagged?' He had no emails trying to contact him.

"Haha. Should I?" He wanted to test this, to see if it's real or not.

He shrugs, "Why not, it will just decline my card otherwise." He then opens a marketplace app. Searching through his wishlisted items he grins finding what he is looking for.

A new TV he's had his eye on, he only has monitors right now for his work desk, no actual TV in the house.

"It's even on offer, though still expensive as hell."

[£1799.99]

Tapping buy now, he goes through the process, confirming details and when it goes to confirm his payment, he watches that spinning circle.

A green tick shows, the purchase goes through and now he's on the delivery screen showing it will arrive tomorrow. He froze in place.

'It actually worked… IT ACTUALLY WORKED!!' He suddenly jumps out of bed in excitement. He then checks his bank account to see it had actually gone down roughly £1800.

On impulse he kissed his phone screen, his heart racing.

Standing in front of his bedroom mirror he smugly says, "Felix Elior, you really are Blessed by God." After finishing he stares at his face for a few seconds before cringing. 'Ugh, that was disgusting.' He shivered. Looking away in embarrassment.

Stepping back he rubs his chin, thoughts running through his head. "Now, what do I do? Why is there a billion pounds in my account? How is it even there?" His thoughts turned grim.

"Don't tell me someones gonna be sent to hunt me down hitman style? That would just ruin the fun. I'd much rather play a game that would be more interesting personally." To Felix the idea of being hunted was overshadowed by the boredom that is brought by the method.

"Screw it. What happens, happens. I'll just enjoy myself for the next few days until then." He pushed it out of his mind, determined to just have fun while he can, or for the rest of his life he hopes.

"Thooough. What's next if I'm lucky as is, why not try and put my luck into something else." A quick thought later he states.

"I would like it if my sister calls me for once." He stares at empty space.

…Silence…

"Guess I wa–"

–Ring– –Bvvvv–

His phone started to ring. Looking at the caller he sees it's his sister. "Ooookayyy. That's not creepy at all. She hasn't called me in years, and I just kinda wished for it. Totally a coincidence."

He answers the phone.

[Hello? Felix?] He heard her voice.

"Yeah Ava?" She took a moment before saying.

[Yeah, hi. Uhhh, I don't know why, but I needed to call you. I don't know why though.]

'Yep definitely not my doing. I definitely didn't just ask for her to call me.' He'd almost made his mind up, he's past the "Once is normal, twice is a coincidence". Now he just needs a third for a pattern.

[Felix? Look, I know I don't call much… at all, but just know I love you, I've been busy these past few years.] Her voice was softer than before.

"It's fine… Love you too sis."

[Mmm, *Murmur* Listen I've got to go now, my roommate just messed up breakfast, I told her to wait, damn teenagers. I promise to call more often when I'm free though, love you bye.] The call ended with a subtle beep.

Felix stood motionless with the phone to his ear, still reeling at chunni possibilities in his head.

"If what I'm thinking is true, I want to open Reddix and the top post to be of what I'm thinking." He then opens Reddix to see the first post causing his eyes to widen.

[Imagine if your thoughts and words shaped reality.]

"Fuck me." He exclaimed in surprise.

Glancing out the window he thinks. 'A Uba will arrive to deliver me my favourite food paid for by an anonymous person.' Just like that a few seconds later he hears the sound of a motorbike coming down the road only to stop outside his house.

"Fuck right off, theres no way right?" Despite his words he still moved to the front door the moment he heard the bell.

After receiving the food, he opens the bag to see it is his favourite order.

"This is insane. Wait. Start raining." Clouds quickly gathered as rain drops began to fall. It seemed to also be at what he would consider rain, not pouring or spitting, but just moderate.

"Weather manipulation at least, right?" He sat down at his table pulling out his order and started to gorge himself on what he considers a heavenly meal.

'So good. Not great for breakfast, but good enough for me.' He took another bite finishing the burger before moving onto the next Item.

'Now how does this thing even work?' Looking at the fork next to him, he has a light bulb moment. Grinning, he says.

"The fork will levitate 1 metre above the table." Following his words the fork levitates how he said.

"Awesome." He nods to himself. "But if words work–"'Do thoughts work too? The fork will gently return to its original position.'

And it did so.

"That's good to know–Munch–Why does this taste so good at 7 in the morning?"

Finishing his "Breakfast" and a dozen thoughts later he's sitting on his sofa phone in hand. Gazing up into the ceiling. 'This power or whatever it is, doesn't seem to be a simple power.

First I wished for one billion to be in my account by tomorrow and it happened. I asked for my sister to call me for the first time in 2 and a half years. It also happened.

Then there was the food order I made that arrived seconds later, the rain and the fork.

None of these fit under a single basic power. All I can think of is probability manipulation, that would be if it wasn't for the floating fork.

Reality manipulation? Or maybe something less. It can't be that OP of a power out of nowhere with no cost." While he doubted it, he really hoped there was no cost and that it was reality manipulation, it would be so much easier if it was.

Tilting his head back down he speaks to the air. "A physical copy of my favourite book will appear in front of me."

–Poof–

The book appeared, quickly falling down onto the carpet–

–Thud–

Leaning over to grab it. 'It's my favourite alright.'

Now he knew a few things. Probability manipulation, maybe some weather manipulation, some kind of telekinesis, creation? Maybe. He couldn't pinpoint any powerset that would fit these powers.

He trembled in excitement. It was getting closer and closer to being reality manipulation. There was just one more test he could do.

'Time for a test.'

Minutes later after making the change he checks his phone and the news stations.

[Breaking News - Historical Landmark Disgraced]

The camera cut to a reporter with a giant billboard behind them. It read [God has descended].

"Cringe as hell, but it makes sense at least." The reporter then started to speak.

"Residents are stunned as this inexplicable message appeared out of nowhere. Authorities are baffled. Within the past few minutes it has been reported that billboards all over the world have all simultaneously shown with this message…" He stopped paying attention after that. Giddy at his confirmation.

While he knew that wasn't the best test he then just got this simple thought to 'Give myself a superhuman physique'.

"Hmm?" He felt no different. Even looking in the mirror showed no difference. While he might be a little athletic it wasn't enough to be considered a superhuman appearance.

Putting a hand under the sofa he lifts it effortlessly, if he wasn't feeling the fabric, he wouldn't believe he was holding it, it was weightless to him.

He then lowered it back down, turning to the rest of the room.

"Time to clear this shit up."
