The dinosaur in the pit started screaming when it saw Jimmy. It cried out desperately, but Jimmy was no park keeper! He raised a rock and slammed it into the dinosaur's head, instantly knocking it unconscious. The dinosaur collapsed, its head resting limply on the ground.
Seeing the opportunity, Jimmy quickly pulled out his axe and jumped down into the pit. He raised the axe high and swung it at the long neck of the unknown dinosaur (similar to a chicken dinosaur). "Thud!" Blood immediately sprayed out, and Jimmy took a deep breath, then put the axe away and knelt by the dinosaur's neck. After a few mouthfuls of blood, he looked up, his face showing satisfaction.
It had been a week since Jimmy last tasted blood food! He now felt an immense sense of fulfillment!
Shaking his head, Jimmy quickly got back to business. He muttered "Fusion" under his breath, and the dinosaur's body turned into a pool of blood, which Jimmy absorbed. "Hmm!" After the wave of pleasure passed, Jimmy sighed helplessly.
"Damn it!" He aimed at another dinosaur, first chopping off its two large thighs. Then he used fusion again. The first dinosaur turned into blood once more and was absorbed by Jimmy. This time, he felt excruciating pain! But despite the pain, Jimmy couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement deep inside! (A little masochistic, huh?)
After the pain passed, Jimmy shook his head. He didn't have time to check how much his attributes had increased. He quickly jumped out of the pit and began covering it up again.
Hearing movement around him, Jimmy quickly climbed a tree. Soon, he spotted the two smaller dinosaurs he had previously seen, now leading a group of larger dinosaurs back to the site.
As the dinosaurs gathered at the scene, they began to communicate. Finally, the largest dinosaur, the leader, started calling out, seemingly summoning its companions. Then, Jimmy saw the lead dinosaur emit a low growl, and one of the adult dinosaurs began walking toward the pit Jimmy had just dealt with.
The yellow dinosaur fell into the pit, but this time, there was no chaos like before. This dinosaur didn't get hurt much, only a bit frightened. It quickly jumped out, and after a brief pause, the dinosaur group wandered off.
Jimmy frowned. He hadn't expected these dinosaurs to be so intelligent! Moreover, he was lacking some lethal weapons. If he had proper weapons, he was confident he could hunt a dinosaur among the herd.
Sighing, Jimmy went down to the ground and dug the pit deeper and wider. After adding more sharp tree stakes, he sat down and thought. He still had five days left. He wasn't sure when the doctor would arrive, but to find out, he needed to track down a Triceratops, preferably a sick one.
The thought of a Triceratops excited Jimmy! He almost forgot! A Triceratops was a perfect target for fusion!
After setting up his trap, Jimmy went looking for the Triceratops. Using some (manure), he quickly found a group of them. It was easy for him to identify the droppings. After all, there were only four types of dinosaurs on the grassland. The ones shaped like little mounds were from the Brachiosaurus, and those with unknown shapes, like birdcage or Ceratops-like, were not that large. Only the Triceratops' droppings were large and clumpy...
He noticed one Triceratops was behaving strangely, constantly having diarrhea!
Jimmy guessed this might be his target! By evening, he sat under a tree, observing the Triceratops herd while nibbling on a small snake he had caught. He also checked his attributes to see how much he had improved...

Not much improvement. Is it because there's no mutation? Jimmy wondered as he examined his body but found no noticeable changes.
Soon, another night passed, and by noon, the Triceratops he was watching strayed from the group. Slowly, the sick Triceratops collapsed on the ground, and an employee discovered it!
Hidden in the grass, Jimmy watched closely. After the employee left for a while, he returned with a box and a syringe. The employee comforted the Triceratops and began injecting it with anesthetic. Once the drug took effect, the employee slowly began inspecting the Triceratops.
Jimmy grabbed a wooden stick and quietly approached the employee from behind. The employee didn't notice him and was knocked unconscious by a single strike.
Jimmy walked up to the immobile Triceratops, pulled out his axe, and aimed for its horns. He had been drawn to those horns from the moment he saw the Triceratops! They were so sharp and curved, the perfect weapon Jimmy had always wanted! He swore he would get them, and now one was lying right in front of him...
After cutting off the Triceratops' horns, Jimmy swung the axe at its neck several times. When the dinosaur's eyes lost all their light, Jimmy inserted his hand into its neck, muttering "Fusion."
"Ah!!" This time, the pain was excruciating. Jimmy gritted his teeth and fell to the ground, "Ahh!!" The bone-crushing pain lasted for three minutes before Jimmy weakly stood up.
"Phew! Almost couldn't take it!" Jimmy said helplessly. He realized the bigger the creature, the greater the pain from fusion.
Soon, he felt the horrible hunger again. He quickly grabbed a piece of Triceratops leg and started gnawing on it. When he discarded the bone, feeling only five-tenths full, he shook his head.
Seeing the employee lying on the ground, Jimmy hurriedly dragged him onto the electromagnetic track and quickly ran away.
Not long after Jimmy left, two vehicles slowly approached. Seeing the fallen employee, they immediately got out to check.
"What happened to him?" a young boy asked curiously.
"Fainted?" Dr. Grant asked in surprise.
"Fainting here is not good!" Dr. Malcolm, wearing sunglasses, said. Dr. Sattler quickly woke up the employee, "Oh! Damn, my head hurts so much!" The employee groaned as he got up.
"How did you end up here?" Dr. Grant asked.
"Uh, let me think... I was taking care of a sick Triceratops, then I felt a pain in the back of my head, and after that, I don't remember anything!" The employee shook his head.
"What!? A Triceratops!? Where is it!?" Dr. Sattler quickly asked.
