What struck Jimmy as strange was that his phone seemed to be reversing time.
"Beep!" Another message arrived. Jimmy opened it and saw: "Congratulations, you have gained an ability. The task will begin in 46 minutes."
After a moment of silence, Jimmy began searching the old wooden ship. Inside the cabin, there were many tools, and he found a photo on the wall. It showed three people, each holding a large snake! There were also many English words, but Jimmy couldn't understand them at all!
So, Jimmy continued searching and soon found a twisted... hunting rifle in the corner!
"What's going on!? Are there monsters here!?" Jimmy wondered, scratching his chin. He vaguely remembered the 'Saint' saying this was a movie world! But Jimmy couldn't remember which movie it was!
Shaking his head, Jimmy continued searching. At the bottom of the cabin, he found a large chest!
After trying and failing to open it, he continued looking for other things. At the back of the ship, Jimmy found a large hole, and he fell silent. With a heavy heart, he kept searching. Near the back, he also found an old radio and a telegraph, both of which were broken.
Soon, Jimmy found a silver revolver by a birdcage! He couldn't help but feel joy and quickly picked it up. It was a six-shot revolver, but there were only four bullets left inside.
Suddenly, the sound of flowing water and insects reached Jimmy's ears. He froze for a moment, pulled out his phone, and saw that the countdown had disappeared! That meant Jimmy had to survive here for a week!
Jimmy began to think. Now that he had a gun, it meant he could hunt animals, but he didn't think he was here for a week of outdoor survival. From the large hole in the ship's cabin, he knew there had to be a dangerous creature nearby!
He quickly ran back into the cabin, found a spot with a wide line of sight, and settled in.
Before long, evening arrived, and Jimmy, who had made it through the day without incident, realized he was hungry! "Sigh! There's no food here, I can't even last a week!" Jimmy muttered to himself.
Suddenly, he heard something moving through the water! Not the sound of flowing water, but the sound of something moving through the water! Jimmy was startled and quickly stood up in a defensive posture.
"Hiss... Hiss!" Jimmy saw dozens of snakes slithering into the cabin, tangling with each other! If Jimmy guessed right, these snakes were mating!
Looking at the countless snakes below, Jimmy's legs started to tremble!
Helpless, Jimmy spent the night on top of the cabin, listening to the hissing of the snakes all night long.
After a sleepless night, Jimmy found that morning had come! The snakes were still mating!! "Damn! When will this end!" Jimmy sighed, looking around. He found a bamboo pole. With no other choice, Jimmy stood on top of the cabin and began sweeping away the snakes. Unfortunately, his efforts were not successful. Every time he knocked one off, another climbed back up.
Soon, the snakes noticed Jimmy, and some began to crawl toward him. "Ah!" Jimmy screamed and quickly swung the bamboo pole. Surprisingly, it worked! But it also angered the snakes.
Several snakes slowly slithered toward Jimmy's back. Hearing the noise, Jimmy turned around and saw three snakes approaching his legs! He froze for a moment, then quickly ran.
Suddenly, Jimmy felt a sharp pain in his left leg! He looked down and saw a snake, about thirty centimeters long, biting into him!
Jimmy quickly tried to shake his leg, but the snake wouldn't let go. Instead, it wrapped around his leg. In pain, Jimmy pulled out the revolver and aimed at the snake's head. "Bang!" The snake's head and body separated instantly.
But the gunshot attracted even more snakes!
Jimmy quickly jumped down from the cabin's roof, ignored the snakes on the ground, and started searching for something. Soon, he found what he was looking for—a thirty-centimeter-long knife, which seemed to have been used by the previous owner of the ship for cutting vegetables!
Though a bit rusty, Jimmy didn't have time to sharpen it. Just then, a snake slithered past his foot. Without hesitation, Jimmy raised the knife and chopped down. Instantly, the snake's head and body were severed!
Next, Jimmy started chopping at the snakes' heads, but he didn't always succeed. His left hand was bitten three times, and both legs were so numb with pain that he could barely feel them! Eventually, Jimmy realized there were no more intact snakes left in the cabin, though some of their severed heads were still hissing and squirming.
The bloodiness around him made Jimmy frown. Just as he was about to leave, a loud splash rang out. To Jimmy's horror, a two-meter-long giant python emerged from the water, tongue flicking as it stared at him.
Jimmy swallowed hard and slowly reached for his waist. "Hiss!" The giant snake roared, opened its mouth, and lunged toward Jimmy. Without thinking, Jimmy rolled to the side.
The snake missed its strike and immediately coiled around him again. At that moment, Jimmy had pulled out his gun! But the snake was faster. It quickly wrapped around Jimmy's body. Jimmy hurriedly raised his right hand and plunged the knife into the snake's body.
"Hiss!" The giant snake screamed, and its grip on Jimmy loosened. Jimmy raised the gun and pressed it to the snake's chin, firing a shot. The bullet pierced through and exited the other side of the snake's head.
The giant snake's body slumped to the wooden floor. Jimmy gasped for breath, relieved. But suddenly, he felt dizzy. Looking down, he saw his legs had turned black. He realized he had been poisoned by the snake!
His vision darkened, and he collapsed on the ground. Reaching out, he grabbed the two-meter-long snake and whispered, "Fusion!"
In an instant, the giant snake's body began to dissolve into blood, which flowed into Jimmy's body, slowly merging with him.
Faint and barely conscious, Jimmy suddenly felt intense pain! It was as if something was forcefully breaking open his body, drilling into his bones!
But soon, the pain disappeared! Jimmy groggily opened his eyes. He wobbled and climbed up from the wooden floor. He quickly noticed something was wrong! His left eye was seeing red, green, and purple images!
Frowning, Jimmy pushed himself to the edge of the wrecked boat. Staring at the murky river, he discovered his left eye had transformed into a red serpent-like pupil!
Jimmy froze for a moment, quickly pulling out his phone. To his surprise, a set of data appeared before him.
