She left.
With Andrew and Vharaxes, she soared east, away from thrones, away from betrayal. Drogon carried her high above the clouds, her face streaked with tears.
"I am not a queen," she said. "I am fire."
Andrew took her hand. "Then let the world burn or bloom. We are flame. And we are free."
The Iron Throne was melted to slag. The realm crowned Bran.
But in the far skies of Essos, two dragons flew together—black and red.
And the world would never forget them.
