Goku: "Vegeta, I'm giving you five seconds to tell me why you betrayed me."
(A confused Vegeta replied.)
Vegeta: "What nonsense are you talking about?"
(Goku spoke again.)
Goku: "Was it you who trapped me in the Time Room? You said you would return, but you never did. And when I reached the exit, it was completely destroyed."
(Piccolo, who had remained silent until now, responded.)
Piccolo: "Goku, it wasn't Vegeta. It was the work of a God of Destruction. When it happened, Vegeta was already with Bulma. I was informed by Dende he saw everything unfold."
(Hearing this, Goku felt relieved and apologized to Vegeta.)
Goku: "My suspicion has been confirmed. I knew Vegeta wasn't a bad guy, but I had to be sure."
Vegeta: "You've got some nerve! I should kill you where you stand! Anyway, forget that you still haven't answered why you and Broly were fighting."
(Vegeta said, now completely impatient.)
(Goku as usual, laughed and said.)
Goku: "You'll find out soon enough. Come on, let's check on Broly."

Goku: "Once you figure it out, it becomes pretty simple. Whenever you feel like you're losing control, think about someone you want to protect someone you would give your life for, if it came down to it."
(Remembering his father, Broly replied.)
Broly: "My father... but he's already dead."
(Goku, who knew the real truth, advised Broly to direct his anger toward Frieza.)
(He said.)
Goku: "Did you really believe your father died from a stray energy blast? Frieza killed him hoping it would trigger your Super Saiyan transformation and that you'd use it to destroy me. He used you and then threw you away like garbage. If he's not stopped, someone else might go through the same pain you did. So channel your rage toward him. I'll help you fully master your Super Saiyan form. But for that, I'll need your help... Vegeta's help... and yours too, my son."
(Gohan responded.)
Gohan: "Why? Is Earth in danger?"
(Goku said)
Goku: "Listen carefully... a war is coming, and it's going to affect all of us."
(Goku said.)
(While he was locked inside the Room of Time, he had time to think, and he said.)
Goku: "It's becoming clearer with each passing day that the gods hate us Saiyans as proven by their attempts to eliminate me. They despise our strength and our ability to overcome any obstacle. They came after me first, but think about it... how long do you think it'll take before they come after you, Vegeta? Or even before that, you, Gohan? For now, Broly is safe but only because they don't know about him yet. I don't want them targeting my family. That's why... to protect my sons, the gods must die. (After a lengthy discussion among the Z Fighters, it was decided that the gods must be stopped.)
(Even though Goku has the power to fight any of the gods, he understands that killing even one would attract unwanted attention from beings considered to be omnipotent.)
(Goku knows that the Grand Priest and Omni-King Zeno will not just sit back and do nothing, so he came to the conclusion that if he wants to live in peace, he must eliminate all the deities except the Kais.)
(Goku knew he couldn't accomplish such a massive task alone, so he decided to recruit the very mortals that the gods despised the most.)
(For Gohan, the decision was easy — he had to protect his daughter Pan, who is also a Saiyan.)
(Broly also agreed, because he didn't want his power to harm those he cared about and for that, he needed help from his fellow Saiyans to master his Super Saiyan transformation.)
(Vegeta also agreed, as he too has a family to protect.)
(And even though he doesn't openly admit it, he respects Goku and considers him a comrade.)
(With this crucial conversation, the first-ever Saiyan Alliance was formed, consisting of Broly, Gohan, Vegeta, and Goku.)
(Their sworn mission was to free the world from the Gods.)
(Piccolo, trying to help as much as he could, reached out telepathically to Dende, asking him if he could rebuild the entrance to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.)
(He feared that Earth might not have much time left, and with what Goku had just said, it was clear that the Saiyans would need a lot of training in order to even stand a chance against those Gods.)
(Because if they failed, Universe 7, as it currently exists, would be completely erased from existence.)
(After a brief conversation with Dende, Piccolo breathed a sigh of relief and happily informed Goku that Dende had agreed to repair the entrance to the chamber.)
(Gohan responded by saying that everyone should use this time to inform their families about what's about to happen, and that if they want the power to protect them, they would have to spend a long time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.)
(Broly, meanwhile, explained everything to Cheelai and told her that he would now have to go to Earth.)
(After saying goodbye, Goku used Instant Transmission to take everyone to Earth.)

(After that, the Saiyans teleported to Dende, who had already informed them that the entrance to the Time Chamber was ready.)
(When they arrived, before entering, Vegeta told Dende to warn them immediately if anything seemed off or unusual on Earth.)
(With that said, the Saiyans wasted no time and walked through the portal.)
