Chapter 2 - chapter2-guilt from Cedric (part-2)

Angelina, Alicia, and Katie suddenly giggled.

"What?" said Wood, frowning at this lighthearted behavior.

"He's that tall, good-looking one, isn't he?" said Angelina. "Strong and silent," said Katie, and they started to giggle again.

As Katie giggled alongside her two older female teammates her eyes naturally drifted over to where Harry stood watching. His eyes were flitting back and forth between the three giggling girls, and for a brief moment the two youngest members' eyes connected and Katie's giggles died in her throat instantly. She quickly averted her eyes before she felt her cheeks heating slightly under the younger boy's gaze. After collecting herself, she quickly glanced up to see if Harry was still looking, when she found that he wasn't looking at her anymore she felt several conflicting and confusing emotions.

She found that she was annoyed that Harry's attention was no longer on her. At the same time she felt an incredibly unpleasant gut wrenching pang of guilt boiling up within her, and she didn't know why. She hadn't done anything wrong, but she still felt like she had been caught by Harry in a particularly embarrassing and shameful situation. All she had done was giggle and say that Cedric was strong and silent. How was that wrong?

She didn't know the answer, but she still couldn't banish the pang in her stomach, so she did the best she could to refocus on what was going on and ignore the odd situation she found herself in...
