Legacy of the Legends
Albus Dumbledore sat in his tower, sipping lemon tea, when the first sign came.
The Wards on Privet Drive collapsed.
He gasped, spilling his drink.
"How… impossible…"
Then came the second sign—his monitoring charms inside the Ministry shattered like glass.
Then the third—his pensieve trembled. A memory long sealed re-emerged: Sirius's will. He reached to erase it again, but found it already gone.
Fawkes cried out. The flames turned green.
"He's returned," Dumbledore whispered.
He knew his grip on Harry was slipping. He had raised the boy like a pawn. Like a lamb for slaughter. But Sirius must have prepared for this.
Dumbledore stood, retrieving the Elder Wand from his desk.
"So it begins…"
