They fly on the quinjet in the aftermath. Maria Hill speaks over comms. "The news is loving you guys. Nobody else is. There's been no official call for Banner's arrest, but it's in the air." As Banner lays under a blanket, Captain stares off into the distance. "Stark Relief Foundation?" Stark replies to hill. "Already on the scene. How's the team?" Ally is the unpredictable edge we could use. But... she is not here. Well for now I'd stay in stealth mode, and stay away from here." Tony replies dryly "So, run and hide?" Hill replies "Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer." He replies "Neither do we." He ends the call, as he turns to Barton who is flying "Hey, you wanna switch out?" Barton replies "No, I'm good. If you wanna get some kip, now's a good time, cause we're still a few hours out." Stark asks "A few hours from where?" He replies "A safehouse." Thor is quite, and says "Ally... he needed Ally gone... she was... a stabalizer for us." Stark is quite at Thors comment. "Yeah... i guess i gave her too little credit." Stark replies. Soon, they are landing as they see a small house in the distance. As they enter, Clint yells "Honey, I'm home." The advengers look at clint with confusion, as a woman, very pregnent enters. Clint sighs "Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead." Laura says "Hey." Before kissing hawkeye deeply. As Stark moves over to thor "Must be a agent of some kind." Clint moves, and introduces his wife "Gentleman, this is Laura." She aquardly says "I... know all your names." Clint moves, as he hears his children running in "Ooh, incoming." As he hugs the children, Cooper and Lila. Lila says "Dad!" as he moves to pick her up "Hi, sweetheart!" As he kisses his sons head, and says "Hey, buddy! How you guys doing? Ooh..." Stark... says incredulous "These are...smaller agents." As the little girl asks "Did you bring Auntie Nat?" "Why don't you hug her and find out?" Natasha says, as she bends down, and the little girl runs over for a hug.
Steve says "Sorry for barging in on you." Stark says "Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Clint says "Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off SHIELD's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low." Laura says "Honey. Ah, I missed you." As Natasha bends down checking on Laura's pregency "How's little Natasha, huh?" Laura says "She's…Nathaniel." Natasha frowns, jokingly shaking her head "trator." Steve, and Stark are chopping wood. As they talk, "Thor didn't say where he was going for answers?" Tony asks. Steve replies "Sometimes my teammates don't tell me things. I was kind of hoping Thor would be the exception." Stark says "Yeah, give him time. We don't know what the Maximoff kid showed him." Steve says "Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Pulled us apart like cotton candy." As Stark says "Seems like you walked away all right." Steve says "Is that a problem?" Tony replies "I don't trust a guy without a dark side. Call me old fashioned." Steve replies, with tension "Well let's just say you haven't seen it yet." Tony says "You know Ultron is trying to tear us apart, right?" Steve says "Well I guess you'd know. Whether you tell us is a bit of a question." Steve clearly blaming stark. As stark defends "Banner and I were doing research." Steve says "That would affect the team." Stark angrly says "That would end the team. Isn't that the mission? Isn't that the "why" we fight, so we can end the fight, so we get to go home?" Steve says "Every time someone tries to win a war before it starts, innocent people die. Every time. You have already seen that with Ally have you not?" Its quite. Laura interrupts them, asking "I'm sorry. Mr. Stark, uh, Clint said you wouldn't mind, but, our tractor, it doesn't seem to want to start at all. I thought maybe you might..." Stark says quitely "Yeah, I'll give her a kick." As he turns to steve "Don't take from my pile." As he walks over to the barn.
As he reaches for the tractor, looking over it. "Hello, Deere. Tell me everything. What ails you?" He asks the tractor before Nick Fury walks out from the shadows. "Do me a favor. Try not to bring it to life." He says. As Stark frowns "Ah, Mrs. Barton, you little minx. I get it, Maria Hill called you, right? Was she ever not working for you?" Fury says "Artificial intelligence. You never even hesitated." Stark says "Look, it's been a really long day, like, Eugene O'Neill long, so how's about we skip to the part where you're useful?" Nick says "Look me in the eye and tell me you're going to shut him down." As stark says "You're not the director of me." Nick replies "I'm not the director of anybody. I'm just an old man, who cares very much about you." As Tony sighs "And I'm the man who killed the Avengers. I saw it. I didn't tell the team, how could I? I saw them all dead, Nick. I felt it. The whole world, too. It's because of me. I wasn't ready. I didn't do all I could." Fury says "The Maximoff girl, she's working you, Stark. Playing on your fear." Stark insists "I wasn't tricked, I was shown. It wasn't a nightmare, it was my legacy. The end of the path I started us on." Fury says "You've come up with some pretty impressive inventions, Tony. War isn't one of them." Stark shakes his head. "I watched my friends die. You'd think that'd be as bad as it gets, right? Nope. Wasn't the worst part." Fury replies "Yes, he is, but he's not making any headway." Tony scoffs, and says "I cracked the Pentagon's firewall in high school on a dare." Nick nods "Yeah, well, I contacted our friends at the NEXUS about that." Steve asks confused "NEXUS?" Bruce says "It's the world internet hub in Oslo, every byte of data flows through there, fastest access on earth." Clint asks "So what'd they say?" Nick replies "He's fixated on the missiles, but the codes are constantly being changed." Tony, confused asks "By whom?" Nick replies Parties unknown."
