Chapter 3 - Enemies for love

The morning after brought some clarity to Gina. She had always known herself to be vulnerable to Dave. Her Dave. She looked at his manly frame beside her, snoring lightly. She allowed herself enjoy the nakedness that lay beside her.

It was her only compensation for the last ten years of life. Not that he was to blame for how things unfolded. Gina was not stupid to believe Dave would do anything to break her. She was simply a victim of circumstance, both of them were.

Pulling herself out of her thoughts, she rose from the bed to take a quick shower. She would dress up and wait for Dave at the dining. It was safe for both of them. She would tell him her little secret and that would be all. They could both go their separate ways afterwards.

She turned on the shower and was lathering her body when the door opened behind her and Dave stepped in. She knew he was erect even without seeing him. It has always been this way with them and ten years of absence did nothing to tame the wildness that was both of them.

'Hmmm...I turned and you were no longer there. I thought you disappeared again' Dave said behind her just before his hand found it's way to her breast. For all her resolution, Gina found herself anticipating his touch. She turned red and the last shred of reasoning left her head as Dave began a slow massage of her nipples. She would never get enough of this sweet assault.

In time, both of them were letting off enough steam beyond the heater in the shower. Gina's head wild with imagination and exhilaration, Dave's energy resplendent and uninhibited. The loud moaning only increased the wanting, Dave had her perfectly moulded round him, her legs around his waist, arms around his neck, and back to the wall.

His favorite thing to do to her was to go finger her essence. It sent immense pleasure through him to see her blue sapphire eyes turn dark from orgasm.

The steam in the bathroom turned thick, curling like wisps of memory around them as their bodies collided with practiced hunger. Ten years apart had not dimmed the fire—they were just as reckless, just as raw, just as tangled in each other's need as they had ever been. Dave gripped her hips with both hands, the wall behind Gina trembling with the rhythm of their reunion.

‎She clung to him, nails digging into his shoulders, her cries lost in the sound of rushing water and shared ecstasy. It wasn't just lust—it was grief, longing, fury, and forgiveness all twisted into the language their bodies spoke so fluently. Every touch was a question. Every kiss, a desperate answer.

‎When it was over, they stayed wrapped around each other under the water. Dave's lips rested against the curve of her neck, and his fingers traced idle patterns along her spine. She buried her face in his shoulder, feeling the tremble in her thighs slowly fade, the adrenaline giving way to a kind of bone-deep silence that neither of them dared to break.
