*Noah's POV*
The knock on my hotel room door comes exactly at seven PM. I've been expecting it for the past hour, pacing the small space between the bed and the single window that overlooks a brick wall.
"Leo, you magnificent bastard."
My old friend stands in the doorway with that trademark grin that got us both into trouble more times than I can count. Even after three years, he hasn't changed. The same perfectly tousled brown hair, the same mischievous blue eyes that remind everyone of a young Leonardo DiCaprio.
"Noah Lancaster. Still slumming it, I see."
Leo steps into the room and surveys the modest accommodations with theatrical horror. The single bed, the tiny desk, the bathroom barely large enough for one person.
"What can I say? I'm embracing the minimalist lifestyle."
"Jesus Christ, man. I've seen prison cells with more character."
