"Since you're heading out… let me give you one last little gift."
Noah thought for a moment. The system had just popped up, prompting him to choose something to send. This little interactive game always encouraged players to offer gifts, and naturally, when a friend departed, it was custom to give a parting token as well.
Noah's storage was available to him now. Inside were various items—Devil Fruits from the world of One Piece, a named katana, even martial arts from One Punch Man. There were also Breathing Styles from Demon Slayer, and random oddities from other universes.
But right now, what he wanted was to strengthen Hinata.
After all, her growing stronger would give Noah some peace of mind. The next time Froggy traveled to the Naruto world, Hinata could be someone to rely on.
With that thought, Noah retrieved a manual from his inventory—it was for training in the [Flowing Water Rock Smashing Fist].
This martial art wasn't weaker than the Hyuga clan's Gentle Fist. They simply moved in different directions. If Hinata could master this, she might even create her own branch of the Gentle Fist in the future.
He also handed her the [Water Breathing] technique from the Demon Slayer world.
Both manuals were placed gently in her hands. "These two should help you," he said with a light smile. "You practice Gentle Fist. If you can integrate these, you'll be at least on par with a jonin."
Hinata stared at him, dazed. She never expected Noah to gift her anything again.
"J-Jonin?" she stammered. Her mind reeled. She was still just a chunin, after all. The distance to jonin seemed impossibly far.
"This is all for Froggy's sake," Noah replied calmly. "He'll be going to your world again soon. If you're not strong enough by then, that's going to trouble me."
"...Thank you, Lord Noah," Hinata murmured, unable to argue. She'd already received several things from him. There was no turning them down now.
With growing curiosity, she opened the three books he'd given her: one for [Flowing Water Rock Smashing Fist], one for [Armament Haki], and one for [Water Breathing].
As soon as she did, the books burst into a cascade of starlight, flowing straight into her mind. The knowledge was vast, overwhelming—and unforgettable.
Hinata closed her eyes, feeling through the contents. It was all so new, so different from anything she had ever learned.
Whether it was martial arts, breathing techniques, or even Haki—it all seemed impossibly advanced. She couldn't believe such strange and miraculous things existed in the world.
"Lord Noah, this gift…" Hinata whispered, overwhelmed. She was especially stunned by the Gentle Fist techniques that rivaled her own clan's, and the so-called [Haki] method that seemed even more practical than outward chakra flow.
"As long as you like it," Noah said with a satisfied grin. He figured this was enough. Hinata's original life path had already been altered. He was simply helping her grow stronger, a little faster than fate intended.
Hinata was indeed a potential powerhouse—a true Byakugan princess in the making.
As she looked at Noah, her heart—once calm and unmoved—suddenly fluttered. Her cheeks flushed rapidly, and she felt warmth rush to her forehead.
This kind of reaction, this strange pounding in her chest—it was the first time Hinata had ever experienced it.
"Huff… huff… huff…"
She gasped for breath, a reddish hue painting her face unnaturally. Still, she didn't faint.
Noah quietly poured her a glass of water. Maybe she was just overwhelmed by the excitement. After all, if she truly mastered everything he gave her, she'd be no less than a Kage-level powerhouse.
Anyone with a good eye could see how rare and valuable those gifts were.
When she had calmed down, Hinata thanked him once more, then slowly stood up and headed for the door. Noah followed behind, curious to see how she would leave.
As they exited Froggy's cabin, they passed a vegetable garden, surrounded by tall, towering plants whose branches reached into the sky. Noah and Hinata could barely see the treetops.
These were the crops used to harvest clover, the kind Froggy exchanged for bento.
Beside them was a small pond, and around its edge ran a narrow path. Hinata walked down that path toward a swirling vortex at the end—the very same vortex she had used to enter this world.
Standing before it, she turned to wave goodbye to Noah. Her face held a deep reluctance—not just to leave him, but to part from this peaceful paradise.
As she stepped into the vortex, a strange sensation washed over her. She realized that she could offer a gift in return.
[Gentle Fist]
[Byakugan]
[Accelerated Growth]
[Palm Sage Technique]
[Otsutsuki Clan Bloodline]
…
These, and her other abilities, even the gifts Noah had just given her, were all valid offerings.
"It's time to give something back," Hinata whispered, taking a deep breath. Her expression turned resolute.
Noah had given her so much. If she didn't return anything, she'd feel guilty.
She made her choice.
[Byakugan]
This was her greatest power. Aside from it, she didn't really have anything of greater value. Noah's gifts had already surpassed everything else.
And besides…
Hinata believed Noah could make even better use of the Byakugan.
Just then, a sudden message entered her mind.
She now understood: no matter what she offered, she wouldn't lose her powers. Even something as vital as the Byakugan wouldn't disappear from her.
"So Lord Noah has access to the power of the Naruto world too…"
Without hesitation, Hinata offered her [Byakugan].
This little farewell had untangled the emotional knots she'd carried since childhood.
And now, she truly looked forward to returning someday.
She hoped that when the time came, she could talk with Lord Noah again.
There was something about talking to him that simply made her feel… at ease.
