Chapter 4 - Lashing out

We had Izuku Midoriya. He and a few other people have been warned about the future, and exactly what it holds for them. Midoriya and the X-Men learn about a war that is going to break out between humanity and the mutants. And about how, whenever somebody is assassinated in the United States, it will eventually lead to an anti-mutant president, who plans to institute the Sentinel Program. Now, that would be a war on mutants.

Kitty Pryde hasn't even explained one of the fears of the human race: their fear of the Omega-Level Mutants, and what their powers can do. She has been able to keep that under wraps. Charles Xavier is already aware of it, however, he doesn't understand why she is hesitant to say anything about it, because of what that would mean; she would need to talk about it. Now, she also did kiss Midoriya, and basically talked about how in her timeline, she and he were possibly together, or at least alluding to it.

Now, they are all currently dressed in uniforms and on the X-Men Blackbird. Midoriya is quite surprised about today. He woke up this morning expecting to train and get stronger. However, now, he is going to help stop somebody from getting assassinated. This is just a strange day.

With that being said, they eventually get to the United States and are informed of everything regarding The Brotherhood of Mutants, and exactly who those mutants could have been. The meeting, or possible conversation, that was going to be taking place is going to be held within the next 24-48 hours, and it is going to be on live television. Meaning that this would be the perfect opportunity for The Brotherhood of Mutants to attack.

In this amount of time, Kitty is talking about her timeline and certain things. And, well, she even explains to some mutants about the Legacy Virus. She doesn't know much about it; it popped up one day and killed quite a large amount of the mutant population. Everyone is taken aback by all of this.

Later on, that meeting is being held, and Charles Xavier actually shows up to it, surprising quite a whole lot of people. He actually begins to talk to everyone and learn exactly what they are talking about. They were hesitant to have Charles Xavier there. However, he has stated that he will not use his psychic abilities. (Not magical, my bad, I'm thinking of a different character.)

They are still hesitant to have him here, especially with the secrets he could possibly learn from looking inside each of their minds. He is swiftly told to leave the premises. Charles does try and assure them that they are here to help, going on to talk about how somebody here is going to die, and that an evil organization of mutants is coming to attack this place. He and his people are here to help stop it.

With that being said, there are certain things going on. Midoriya and the rest of the X-Men are outside, and they are basically in camouflage or their civilian clothing. All of them are out, holding different conversations, until eventually, a large van pulls up. A particular set of people begins to get out of it. No one really thinks anything of this until Midoriya actually turns and realizes what is going on. As time begins to speed up for him, everyone around him just begins to get slower.

Midoriya watches as a mutant has brought up his hand and is charging a large, large amount of power. As they immediately go to blast at the wall, Midoriya is able to run in, and he is able to actually get close enough as he goes to try and block the attack. However, whenever he actually goes to bring his hands up, he splits the attack in two and is flown backwards. He himself smashes through the wall, along with blowing a wider hole in the building, as he is sent flying in and smashing and breaking a table. He does actually go to get back up.

Now, Charles does actually comment that Midoriya shouldn't have… "Well, what is he doing here?" As The Brotherhood of Mutants begins to walk in.

Storm, Kitty Pryde, and many other members of the X-Men here (let's say Colossus and Beast are here too), they do try and help. Now, these are some heavy hitters for the X-Men. However, they are going up against Mystique, Sunspot, and The Blob. Along with, I believe, two other high-class enemy mutants. I do not know exactly who The Brotherhood of Mutants are, or who makes up their roster, but let's say they also have two more heavy hitters.

Cyclops begins to take on one of the heavy hitters, while Storm tries to go after Sunspot. And Midoriya is gone… well, he is left with The Blob, while Beast is trying to take on Mystique. Now, Kitty Pryde is also going against the heavy hitter. Her having a lot more experience than her past self, she is able to take them on and phase their body into the ground to try and subdue them. However, this does not last long, so she needs to find a way to take them out very fast.

As for Midoriya, he simply gets off the table and hops back onto his feet. He begins to tear the clothing off of his body, revealing the X-Men suit underneath. As Midoriya actually begins to take flight, he goes running or flying at The Blob, trying to push him outside. He didn't expect to find out that The Blob was as powerful as he was. As soon as Midoriya actually grabbed onto him, his hands went further into the man's body, and The Blob barely even moved. Midoriya pulls back his hands and punches away at his stomach, finding that The Blob is a very, very durable man.

This actually surprises Midoriya. And The Blob does actually inform him that this is not going to be an easy fight for the kid. "And, sorry about this," he says, cocking back his hand and trying to punch Midoriya across the face. He discovers Midoriya's impeccable durability as well.

These two basically stand there for a second, trying to punch away at each other, neither one of them bothering to try and dodge. However, Midoriya eventually has to end this battle, and he begins to manipulate the shadows around The Blob. Using the man's giant shadow, he actually pulls The Blob off the ground, before Midoriya is able to actually cock back his hand and try and muster as much strength as he can. As The Blob just gets higher and higher up into the air, until Midoriya releases him. As soon as The Blob is actually closer to Midoriya, he punches the man as hard as he can, hoping that the man will not be as damaged as he thinks. He is able to survive relatively heavy punches from Midoriya. However, he still wants to hold back. And he currently just sends The Blob flying over five city blocks. The Blob lands in the river, or the ocean, or a canal. Somewhere by a bridge.

Midoriya goes back to trying to help, and he actually sees Storm struggling with Sunspot. Midoriya flies in and is able to grab Sunspot and begin to fly him higher up into the atmosphere, away from civilians. While Storm does actually go to turn around and begin to try and protect Charles and the other mutants, or the people in that room.

While all this is going on, we actually do have somebody who wasn't accounted for: Destiny, the mutant who is actually orchestrating this all. As they are able to sneak inside the building. Now, Kitty does not know exactly who killed him. However, there are too many people here, and she assumed that this large, muscle-bound force was the one to do it. And sadly, events for her timeline do somewhat stay the same. If not, they barely even diverge, somewhat away from her cataclysmic future.

Meanwhile, we actually do have the battle with Midoriya and Sunspot. Sunspot is actually surprised that Midoriya is flying at high speeds, before he actually has to go to throw his hand down into Midoriya's ribcage, and blast away at him with a large amount of power. This actually causes Midoriya to let him go and push him away, as he actually screams out in pain.

Now, Sunspot is around Midoriya's age, or possibly a little bit older than him, by a few years. Let's say about 4, so that would make him 15. And he actually does comment that Midoriya does seem to be very powerful. Most people couldn't even make physical contact with him. He brings up both of his hands and goes to fire off a large ray of fire. And Midoriya, he actually does bring up his own hands and begins to show off his own power, his own energy, as beams of darkness begin to shoot out of Midoriya's hands, and the energy does somewhat cover his body.

These two, their blasts are colliding, and Sunspot is quite surprised, to say the least. A power basically opposite to his own. And he does want to know the kid's name. Midoriya, as soon as these two collide with their blasts, basically shouting, "Izuku!" As he goes to try and push more power into his attack.

Sunspot does one simple thing: turning off his powers. As their blast, Izuku's begins to overpower Sunspot. He falls out of the air before turning back on his powers and flying up to uppercut Izuku, being able to move his fist directly underneath his arms, hitting Midoriya with an uppercut, and catching him off guard. Sunspot then begins to blast him higher up into the air, and moving at high speeds, beginning to just punch around and blast Izuku with heavy amounts of his own power, as he is burning brighter.

Now, Storm and everyone are actually watching that. And Midoriya, he does actually try and counter, getting a bit enraged, and sending out a large blast of power directly at Sunspot. He is able to hit Sunspot's center mass and send him flying towards a building. He smashes through the window, basically burning through the glass. As Midoriya does one thing out of pure anger, with his hand, he throws it upwards, and his fingers begin to elongate, turning into strange, well, tendrils. As they go towards and begin to wrap around Sunspot. Midoriya grabs him and pulls him forward, yanking Sunspot towards him.

Now, Sunspot does actually begin to try and burn through the tendrils. As Midoriya, he just begins to smash him around over and over. Now, he throws him directly into the ground, before Midoriya himself flies in and smashes him directly through the street. And these two do somewhat end up underground. Before Sunspot, he does actually fly up out of the ground and try and get away, realizing that this kid is getting stronger and stronger the more they fight.

Now, Midoriya does eventually fly up from out of the ground. His body covered in a strange aura. And he suddenly just brings up both of his hands once again, and his fingers do elongate. Sunspot is beginning to try and fly away. As Midoriya's hands chase after him, or the tendrils.

Now, a lot of people are actually watching this, and it is actually being broadcast on the news worldwide. Hisashi and Inko are watching what their son is capable of. As eventually Sunspot is able to fly somewhat, he thinks he is out of range. As Midoriya's fingers suddenly just stop. He turns around and looks, before he actually slows down his pace, and watches Midoriya's fingers try and move forward but stop. He gets closer and closer and begins to laugh. Now, he drops his guard, going to turn back around. One of the fingers elongating and actually wrapping around him, and yanking him backwards. He is somewhat surprised, as he is immediately sworn by these, well, tendrils, before he is immediately pulled back towards Izuku, who rushes in and is flying directly at him.

Now, Sunspot, he begins to just start burning brighter and brighter and brighter, trying to let off more and more of his own power.

Now, Kitty is trying to find the person she is supposed to rescue. And she actually does find them. Her being able to stop Destiny. Now, she is able to phase through her and grab the gun. And she then does actually throw it towards the ground, stepping on it and phasing it through. As she would turn around and solidify her hand, smacking Destiny across her face. Now then, this would ensure what she thinks to be her timeline's preservation, making sure those events change and cause a different outcome. As soon as she actually is done fixing what she believes to be her timeline, she would jump back, basically going to pass out.

Now, sadly, we do come back to the fight between Midoriya and Sunspot. As these two are both sitting there in the street or standing there. Midoriya blasts darkness directly at Sunspot. Him, blasting the power of the sun at Midoriya. Now, these two are just going back and forth. And Sunspot is trying to go at his absolute maximum, and match Midoriya. He is burning intensely, and the very street beneath his feet is melting, as he does actually go to take a step forward and go towards Midoriya, closer and closer. Midoriya is forced to take a step backward. However, he does also sometimes try and grab ground from him.

With that being said, eventually, these two are too close. And their energy is pouring in both directions, and beginning to not only burn and cut through the street, but through the buildings to their left and to their right. Until Midoriya and Sunspot are basically able to actually touch hands together. The very moment that these two actually do that, Midoriya lets out a large burst of his own energy. And these two are both sent flying away from the force of an explosion. Midoriya smashing through a building, and just keeps going. As the city block they both just had an explosion from was very powerful. It took out four to five different buildings.

And Midoriya, he does actually get back up, and he feels somewhat enraged and very angry. However, Sunspot believes that he does have the upper hand. He shows more power. And he does actually decide to go after Midoriya this time. "The kid's not as strong as he thought! He just had to go a bit more all out!" And this time, he actually does fly in after Midoriya, finding him in the building. And Sunspot is beginning to wail on him with his bare hands, punching Midoriya across the face over and over and over again.

With that, he just keeps doing that. And eventually Storm and the other X-Men do find this kid. As he's just sitting there on top of a beaten and bloody Midoriya, punching away at him over and over and over again.

Now, this is whenever Colossus actually does run in and grab the kid by both of his arms. As he actually does begin to feel the skin on his hands, or his organic metal form, begin to heat up. Now, he does keep the kid restrained. Until Midoriya, he actually has his eyes widen, and they are pure red. In fact, they are this particular color behind the void. And the energy is pouring and seeping out of Midoriya's eyes. Him, throwing his hand up directly into Sunspot's. And Sunspot actually does begin to cough up some blood. Colossus, looking forward to see what Midoriya did. Midoriya shoved four of his fingers directly into Sunspot's torso. And the kid, he actually does power down. Colossus is able to let go of him. As he actually does fall backwards. And look down at his chest. As Midoriya just stands there. He lies there with his fingers up. As he begins to try and move. Getting back onto his feet.

Now, the wide range of emotions Midoriya has been feeling. They were dangerous. He's been feeling fear, joy, excitement, and rage. Well, those all were piled together. Midoriya has been feeding The Void what he wants: fear, anger, rage. And he's begun to influence Midoriya's decision making. Now, he even made Midoriya make Sunspot in a temporary moment of calm, or at least somewhat peace. As, he is in control at the moment.

Midoriya gets back on his feet as he throws his hands directly up at his head. And that dark aura begins to form around his body once again. Now, Charles actually does see Midoriya do this. And we also do have Kitty Pryde, who herself does actually begin to come to or wake up. Her opening her eyes and seeing Midoriya, who basically is covered in blood, and has his eyes filled with energy. As he begins to use his empathic abilities.

Now, Colossus actually does feel Midoriya's emotions. He himself was overcome with great rage. And Midoriya, he just begins to scream out in pure Rage, and is somewhat scared. Him using his telepathic abilities. And in everyone's heads, they can hear Midoriya scream, and something more: the primal scream of something old, something that should be older than the universe, something that is trapped.

Now, Charles is able to actually bring his hands up and put Midoriya back in the right mind state. Him simply just temporarily shutting down Midoriya's mind. As he actually does fall down and forward. The tendrils that were beginning to sprout from his body simply beginning to retract and go back into Midoriya. As he just lies there.

Now, Charles is quite surprised by that, and so is everyone there. However, there was also the man whom they had just saved. Midoriya's powers and abilities. Yes, they did help save this man today. However, the explosion he and Sunspot caused. They did actually injure and hurt quite a lot of people. And someone actually was rushed to the hospital. However, there was no great, well, bad outcome. Nobody died. However, everywhere around the world, people saw children with powers beyond quirks, and hearing that they're both mutants, and exactly what they could do with those powers already. It already set the spark for what The Brotherhood wanted: fear. What mutants are truly capable of. Humans can throw anything they want at mutants. But a simple fraction of their power, it can decimate humans.

Now, whoever is left of The Brotherhood of Mutants actually retreats, while the rest are taken to jail. And Sunspot, he is actually somewhat of an exception. Charles Xavier does actually want to take him under his wing. The boy is being, as he would put it, influenced by these people. And he would like to actually give the boy a second chance.

Now, this was outside the ability of the law. However, Charles did actually say that he can contact an old friend of his, and the boy will be transported to Genosha. As soon as Charles says these words, these people have to back away and leave it to Charles. Since, if they begin to interfere more, they can cause an international matter.
