"Art is explosion! Meow!"
After being teased and stabbed right in the heart by Shermie like that, Doflamingo mood had sunk so low that even his trademark manic grin was barely hanging on.
"Fuffuffuffuffu! Good! Very good! You've really managed to piss me off now!"
Doflamingo raised his hand toward the sky. The threads around him shot upward under his control, then rapidly spread out in all directions.
In an instant, they formed a massive hemispherical cage that sealed both himself and Shermie inside.
"This is... the Birdcage!"
Sengoku crushed the railing he was gripping, his face dark with grim memories.
The moment Doflamingo unleashed that move, it brought back feelings he'd rather have forgotten.
Vice Admiral Tsuru immediately turned toward Sherwin and shouted, "Quick! Tell that kid to use elementalization and escape from the Birdcage! Once Doflamingo activates this technique, we won't be able to intervene anymore!"
"Huh? Is that move really that overpowered? Even you guys can't deal with it?"
Sherwin had originally thought that when the Navy failed to break through Doflamingo blockade during the fight for the Ope-Ope Fruit, it was just because their top combatants weren't present.
But now it seemed the real issue was that this technique priority level was far higher than he'd imagined.
Then again, thinking about it carefully—it made sense. During the Dressrosa incident, Fujitora had also been there, yet even he couldn't do anything about the Birdcage.
And not only that—the Barrier-Barrier Fruit had a similar kind of unreasonable strength, as if its defenses were enforced by some kind of "rule" beyond logic.
Doflamingo Birdcage could even block out the News Bird signals. That was just insane!
Even crazier, Sherwin realized that his Observation Haki had been severely weakened inside the Birdcage.
It felt just like the time Doflamingo had hidden himself within a mass of white threads...
Could it be that his ability to confuse Observation Haki was actually based on his Devil Fruit power?
As Sherwin pondered this, Garp—who was already worried sick about the safety of the cat—finally lost his patience and charged straight in.
"Fist ... Impact!"
But even the legendary "Fist of Iron," Garp himself, couldn't break through the already-formed Birdcage.
Inside the cage, Doflamingo once again manipulated massive waves of white threads, surrounding Shermie from all directions in an attempt to cut her down where she stood.
Even though Sherwin already knew what kind of man Doflamingo was, his expression still darkened.
"Klee, go help Shermie out. I'm allowing you to use your bombs," Sherwin said to the small doll perched on his shoulder.
But then he quickly added, "Control your power. Your sister Shermie is in there too."
"Klee Meow understands! Don't worry, big brother Sherwin!"
With a confident meow, the little doll leapt from the balcony of Marine Headquarters, transforming into a blazing ball of fire that shot straight into the Birdcage.
"Another Logia user?!"
The gathered Marines and Warlords were all stunned. Normally, Logia-type Devil Fruits were an extremely rare sight—but around Sherwin, they seemed to appear like free giveaways.
Even the Marines officially had only the three Admirals and Smoker as Logia users.
Yet Sherwin two Felynes—one wielding lightning and the other fire—both possessed top-tier Logia abilities.
"Garp!"
Sengoku turned once again toward the ever-smug Navy hero, demanding an explanation.
But this time, Garp defended himself with absolute confidence. "Don't look at me like that! I tried to tell you earlier, but you kept rambling on and on—I couldn't get a single word in!"
"You—!"
Sengoku hand trembled as he pointed at the incorrigible old man, the other clutching at his chest as his blood pressure spiked—nearly enough to make him pass out on the spot.
Their usual bickering might have been entertaining under normal circumstances, but no one was paying them any attention now. All eyes were fixed on the fierce battle inside the Birdcage.
"Shermie-sis! Klee Meow here to help! Watch my Multi Spark Sparrow Technique, meow!"
The fiery little doll darted into the fray, instantly summoning over a dozen plump flame sparrows that burst into existence and dove straight toward Doflamingo!
"Damn it!"
While controlling massive waves of white threads to entangle the fiery sparrows, Doflamingo cursed viciously under his breath.
With Klee Meow joining the fight, he knew his plan to isolate and finish off Shermie inside the Birdcage had completely fallen apart.
It was already exhausting enough to restrain one Logia user with his awakened powers, keeping her too busy to escape.
Now, with another Logia user joining in, the idea of stopping them from getting out was pure delusion—especially when one of them possessed the blinding speed of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.
"Damn it! Just where did that brat Sherwin find so many Logia-type Felynes?!"
Doflamingo had once taken pride in commanding a squad of Devil Fruit users.
But compared to Sherwin two Logia Felynes, his subordinates suddenly didn't seem so impressive anymore.
As he unwillingly felt a pang of jealousy and resentment toward Sherwin—
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!
The fiery sparrows caught in his threads detonated under Klee Meow control, blasting apart the swirling waves of white threads surrounding Doflamingo into a chaotic mess.
"Railgun Meow!"
Though she often bickered with Klee Meow, Shermie was a master of coordination in actual combat—after all, before crossing into this world, she'd been a support-focused "Flute" Felyne.
The moment Klee Meow summoned her Spark Sparrows, Shermie had already loaded an energy round between her claws.
When the explosion shattered the threads and exposed Doflamingo position, the second electromagnetic blast was already firing straight from her paw, roaring toward him.
"Shield White Line!"
The railgun blast was once again blocked by Doflamingo layered defensive threads—but before he could even recover, Klee Meow next attack came crashing in.
"C2—Golden Fire Dragon Meow!"
The Golden Rathalos that once blasted a massive crater into the Sky Island was summoned once again by Klee Meow, diving straight toward Doflamingo, who had just barely managed to block the Railgun and hadn't even caught his breath yet.
Not only did Doflamingo expression twist in shock, but even Sherwin couldn't stay calm anymore.
"Didn't I tell you to control the power?!" he shouted in frustration, then quickly turned to Fleet Admiral Sengoku and said,
"This whole battle was started by Doflamingo — make sure you send him the repair bill!"
"Huh?"
Sengoku was momentarily confused. Because of the Birdcage interference, he couldn't clearly sense the Golden Rathalos destructive power.
But inside the Birdcage, Shermie could feel it all too well. The moment the Golden Rathalos appeared, she transformed into a bolt of lightning and dashed toward the edge of the Birdcage at full speed, trying to escape.
Doflamingo had no time to stop her. His Observation Haki clearly told him how dangerous the Golden Rathalos was,
and now he was frantically draining his stamina, pushing both his Devil Fruit power and Armament Haki to their limits —
forcing as many threads as he could to wrap tightly around himself, layering them with high-density Armament Haki for protection.
Klee Meow, having once blown herself up with this same summon, wasn't dumb enough to repeat the mistake.
Instead of detonating it immediately after sending the Golden Rathalos at Doflamingo, she had it grab hold of the "thread ball" wrapping around him, then fold its wings and wrap another fiery layer around the outside.
Meanwhile, Klee Meow herself had already transformed into elemental form and followed behind Shermie, quickly putting as much distance as she could between herself and her summon.
When she felt the distance was safe enough, the little plush cat raised one fiery paw and clenched it hard toward the Golden Rathalos direction.
"Art is an explosion, meow!"
"BOOM——!!!"
