"Where were you when it happened?" Jaxon asked as he trapped Fenja between himself and the door. His gaze was intense, and she found it formidable to look him straight in the eyes.
Jaxon couldn't ask Jack because he was still unconscious, and from what he was told, Fenja was there with Jack before she went to look for help.
"I was looking for help." Fenja then told him what happened and how Jack acted a little bit off when he asked her to look for other warriors while she couldn't find anything wrong at that time. "He asked me secretly, so the two warriors who were waiting for him couldn't hear it, while acting normal."
Jaxon listened to her intently. "Do you remember what they looked like?"
"Yes."
The intruders managed to kill two warriors in the pack house and tampered with the CCTV. Someone was currently trying to fix it, but even if it were possible, it would take time.
"Good." Jaxon caressed her cheek. "Are you okay?"
