Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Orochimaru, You've Already Walked the Path to Death!

In the original Naruto canon, Chiyo of Sunagakure—a battle-hardened elder—once said:

When facing a Sharingan user one-on-one, your best bet is to run;

If it's two against one, attack from behind.

To handle an awakened Uchiha, you'd need at least two people.

And the one confronting them directly can't be weak, or they won't stand a chance.

What Grandma Chiyo referred to wasn't even the Mangekyo Sharingan.

After all, there weren't that many pairs of Mangekyo Sharingan in existence.

So just how terrifying could a fully matured Triple Tomoe Sharingan be?

Possessing several times as much chakra as Kakashi, combined with the Triple Tomoe Sharingan,

would be more than enough to deal with ordinary Jonin,

and completely outmatch Chunin.

But now, in this weakened state, going up against someone like Orochimaru or Danzo was suicide.

Oh right, aside from the Triple Tomoe Sharingan, he actually had another system that seemed extremely powerful.

Except the system appeared to be watching idly by right now.

Yoncher opened his eyes again.

He gave another tug, testing the strength of the bindings.

The tubes coiled around him like serpentine chains.

Yet from the moment he woke up until now, he could feel his strength slowly returning.

At that moment, several system notifications surfaced in his mind:

[Shisui Uchiha's deep concern, emotional value 12]

[Rin Nohara's affection and sorrow, emotional value 11]

[Might Guy's unease and anxiety, emotional value 11]

[Yamato's grief and attachment, emotional value 10]

The Emotional System harvests emotional values whenever any person or creature experiences intense emotions toward Yoncher—joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, love, hate, fear, etc.—as long as those feelings surpass certain thresholds.

These emotional values can be used to increase chakra, ocular power, evolve the Sharingan, and so on.

Ordinary emotional fluctuations below those thresholds don't generate emotional values.

Additionally, each individual can only produce one emotional value per specific emotion per day.

Hmm?

That's all?

Where are the rest?

Where is the Uchiha clan?

Other than my younger brother Shisui, not a single other clansman cares about me?

Enjoy your implosion, inherently evil Uchiha clan!

Just as Yoncher thought that, another notification popped up:

[Momiji Uchiha's worry and anxiety, emotional value 11]

Momiji huh—the cool girl back home who raised a flock of white geese.

They barely knew each other, yet she still cared enough to worry.

Yoncher looked at his current 71 emotional points, focused his mental energy on the "+" after "Chakra," then clicked it.

[Upgrade 0.1 Chakra requires consuming 100 emotional points, insufficient emotional points, upgrade failed;]

To hell with this system!

Gritting his teeth, Yoncher clicked the "+" symbol after "Ocular Power."

[Upgrade 0.1 Ocular Power requires consuming 100 emotional points, insufficient emotional points, upgrade failed;]

Worthless system, why do I even have you!

Still unwilling to give up, he clicked the "+" mark after "Chakra Control Level."

No surprise there.

The existing 71 emotional points still couldn't raise even 0.1 point in "Chakra Control Level."

This system seemed determined to leave Yoncher to rot.

After a moment of silence, Yoncher's attention focused on the left side of his neck.

There, embedded deep beneath the skin, was the Cursed Seal of Heaven implanted by Orochimaru.

Yoncher remembered clearly — the power of Orochimaru's cursed seal originated from Jugo's Sage Chakra.

Jugo had been born with the natural ability to absorb ambient energy. After extensive research and modifications based on Jugo's bodily fluids, Orochimaru had developed the cursed seal technique.

The cursed seal could unleash astonishing power.

But it also corroded the body.

The longer its power was used, the greater the damage it inflicted upon the user — often leading to irreversible consequences.

Even death.

Worst of all, once implanted with the cursed seal, one became nothing more than a spare vessel for Orochimaru — a mere tool for his resurrection!

You twisted old creep...

I actually respected you as a scientist of the ninja world before, even called you "Uncle Snake."

Turns out you're just lusting after my body!

Orochimaru, you've sealed your own fate!

After cursing Orochimaru in his mind for a few moments, Yoncher pushed away his chaotic emotions, forcing himself to calm down.

Although powerful, the cursed seal was truly a double-edged sword.

Unless absolutely necessary, it was best left untouched.

To break out of this experimental facility, he would have to rely on his newly evolved Triple Tomoe Sharingan,

and the few ninjutsu techniques he knew.

Yoncher closed his eyes and began silently gathering chakra.

Ten or so minutes later,

he opened his eyes again, channeling chakra through both hands as he ripped the tubes off his body.

Once all the tubes were torn away, a wave of suffocation hit him.

He rapidly formed hand seals with both hands.

[Water Release: Water Slash!]

An ultra-high-pressure stream of water shot forcefully from his mouth like a sharp blade, instantly blasting open the containment capsule that imprisoned him.

*Boom!*

Like being caught in a raging flood, Yoncher was swept out violently from the shattered chamber.

*Huff!*

Supporting himself with his left hand on the ground, Yoncher struggled to rise.

Wiping away the residual solution from his face, he quickly scanned the surroundings.

Except for Yamato's capsule, each other container contained only a corpse.

Yoncher tore the remaining tubes from his body and staggered toward the girl whose presence had triggered his awakening of the Triple Tomoe Sharingan.

He held his fingers near her nose for a moment, then pressed against the carotid artery on her neck.

Her body was already completely stiff — she'd died some time ago.

A bitter surge of anger and sorrow rose within Yoncher's chest.

Flashes of memory flickered in his mind — every time he nearly lost consciousness inside the capsule, the girl across from him would send him encouraging glances and wave.

They had never exchanged a single word with each other.

Yet, through those silent gestures alone, she had pulled him back from the brink of death over and over again.

"What kind of messed-up world is this?"

Yoncher gently brushed the girl's face with his palm, as if trying to etch her features permanently into his memory.

Suddenly, his expression changed sharply!

Though severely weakened, he still possessed formidable sensory abilities — someone was approaching fast!!

His gaze snapped immediately to Yamato's containment capsule, thoughts racing.

Now, it was highly likely the exact moment when Danzo took Yamato away from Orochimaru's facility!

In his memory, he vaguely recalled watching the scene of Danzo leaving with Yamato; perhaps it had just happened not long ago!

Yoncher remembered that in the anime he used to watch, it was mentioned how this sly old Danzo had buried fifty-nine dead children in front of Yamato, just to ensure Yamato's complete loyalty.

The returning figures were probably Root organization ninja sent by Danzo to handle things here.

Yoncher quickly formed hand seals and concentrated on creating a Shadow Clone.

The clone rolled several times within the chaotic liquid, wrapped itself with a bunch of tubes, and then lay down.

Gasping for breath, Yoncher walked toward the location of Yamato's containment pod and formed a hand seal.

"Transformation Jutsu!"

Instantly, his body transformed into a tube, blending perfectly among the others scattered on the ground.

"Are they coming? Danzo himself, or just Root ninja?"

Thoughts flashed through Yoncher's mind like lightning.

To him, this Emotional System felt more like a "Troublemaker System."

Because it demanded constant emotional triggers—provoking intense feelings—to accumulate Emotional Value.

Besides that, the System also issued tasks specifically designed to provoke troublemaking behavior.

Take the current main mission, for example. Originally, it was simply about surviving and returning to Konoha.

But the System added a bonus condition: killing Danzo would reward one Hashirama cell fragment.

Collecting nine fragments would grant access to a full-fledged Hashirama cell—an incredibly tempting offer.

However, Yoncher and the original soul shared a similar personality—he preferred playing it safe and cautious rather than engaging in uncertain battles.

If he were at his peak, even if he only knew two offensive jutsu, he wouldn't necessarily lose against Danzo one-on-one, despite possessing merely the Triple Tomoe Sharingan.

Don't be fooled by Danzo—he might have some powerful jutsu, but his battlefield judgment was shockingly poor. He treated the Sharingan like a get-out-of-jail-free card, stabbing at Susano'o with kunai, and his greatest feat so far had been sealing a bridge.

Still, Yoncher wasn't planning to take that risk.

He had regained some strength, but still felt shaky—unstable on his feet and easily off-balance—and charging headfirst into battle with Danzo in this state would be extremely unwise.

Not to mention Danzo always had an entire group of assassination-specialist Root ninja by his side.

Footsteps echoed within the dark corridor.

Growing louder with each passing second.

Four masked ninja stepped into the ruined experimental hall.
