Chapter 133 - Kidnapping

After dealing with Aurora's problem, Antonio returned back to his manor. Many of you might be thinking that Antonio had deliberately made a last moment entrance at the Sinistra Manor to give himself a more elevated entrance. That was not true.

To be honest, Antonio did not mind such a remarkable entry. To arrive in that manner and then draw all the attention to yourself, who would not like such drama? Antonio did like that. He had enjoyed himself.

But this had not been intentional. It had not been planned. He had been busy with something, and in the flow of that work, he had barely been able to make it at the last moment. Now, he had arrived back to finish that work.

Antonio stepped inside the mansion, crossed the main hall, and arrived in one of the rooms of the manor. The room was almost empty, except for a few old things, a kind of storeroom.

Antonio arrived in the centre of the room and pulled his wand out. Raising his wand, he started to move it in a complex pattern. Moments later, there was a shimmer of magical light on the ground in front of him, and then a staircase materialized, leading into a basement.

This basement had been present in the Olario Manor even before Antonio had taken over the estate. And now that he had found a use for this hidden chamber, Antonio had added this magical protection to hide the path.

Putting his wand back in the holster, Antonio started to descend the staircase. As he did so, magical lanterns strapped to the walls began to light up one by one, illuminating his path. Antonio continued to descend for a couple of minutes before he finally arrived in a chamber.

The chamber was not very large in size. Half a dozen magical lanterns illuminated it in a pale hue.

Antonio's eyes, meanwhile, were focused on the other end of the chamber. On the opposite end of the chamber, three wooden chairs had been placed. Tied to the wooden chairs were three men. These men seemed to be in their early thirties and were dressed in the attire of Death Eaters.

Their entire bodies were bloodied, with numerous cuts and bruises on them. Though no cut was deep enough to cause them any serious harm.

As the Death Eaters spotted Antonio back in the chamber, they began to struggle, but their hands and legs were bound tightly by magical spells, as were the chairs to the ground. They tried to shriek, scream, and beg for mercy, but wooden gags had been bound over their mouths, and other than suppressed gurgles, no sound was able to come out from their mouths.

"Hello, everyone," Antonio chuckled as he stepped forward and arrived in front of the Death Eaters.

He pulled out his wand once again, gave it a wave, and one chair came screeching toward him from the side of the chamber. The chair stilled in front of the trio, and Antonio took his seat on it facing them directly.

The Death Eaters continued struggling, begging with their eyes to let them speak.

Antonio sighed, "So stubborn," and waved his wand once again. Their gags were removed, and finally their struggling stopped.

"Lord Olario," the Death Eater in the middle begged immediately. "Please let us go."

"We will leave everything. We will, in fact, leave the country and go away from here permanently. We will not tell anyone who kidnapped us. Just let us go."

As the man begged, he was on the verge of tears, while the others too nodded desperately, agreeing to whatever their partner was saying.

"Leave the country?" Antonio raised an eyebrow, as if genuinely considering the offer.

The trio nodded in hope and desperation.

All this had begun the day Antonio had invaded the Ministry. From the memories of a Death Eater, Antonio had learned about a couple of low level Death Eaters.

In the days that followed, Antonio had approached a number of Death Eaters. He ambushed them, took them by surprise, read their memories, and then let them go. He might have considered killing them or kidnapping them but he did not want to attract a lot of attention. Thus he let them go.

Over the past few days, he had studied the memories of around ten such Death Eaters. But last night, he struck gold.

From the memories of a certain Death Eater, Antonio discovered a trio of Death Eaters who had an attack planned. This trio had been planning an attack on a certain inn, and they intended to target and kill around ten to twelve men who had been staying in that inn.

And Antonio made no mistake. He arrived at the location and remained hidden in ambush. It was only after midnight that Antonio felt the presence of these three Death Eaters.

And even before they could make a move or realize what was happening, Antonio struck. A couple of spells later, the Death Eaters were unconscious, and within moments, Antonio had Apparated them back to his manor.

But that was not the end of it. One of them, the death eater in the middle, turned out to be a close aide of Alex Timirus. And this had been quite surprising for Antonio.

But when he studied the memories of this particular death eater, he got to know the horrors and crimes that Alex had been committing as a death eater. And he had been shocked at all that he had witnessed. The man was a low life and a pure criminal. Of all the death eaters, whose memories he had studied, no one had been as heinous and disgusting as Alex had been. He was a monster through and through.

After going through their memories, Antonio began a small torture session. And in that torture session, he had gotten late for the event at Sinistra Manor.

"I have a better option than leaving this country," Antonio sighed.

"What?" one of the death eaters asked. "We will do whatever you say. Just spare us."

Antonio shook his head as a book appeared in his hand. Basic Healing Spells, the title of the book.

"I am trying to learn a few healing spells," he said. "You all would serve as good practice targets."

He waved his wand and the injury on the death eaters healed in an instant.

"It works," Antonio said while the death eaters were too shocked to react. "But now I will need to inflict more injuries to test the advanced spells."
