XAVIER
The man didn't look like he knew what he was doing, even when all the veins on my face showed that I disliked what I was seeing.
He was so happy out of his mind that he didn't even notice it. If he noticed it, then he didn't act like he did.
"Come, come and join us!" He continued gesturing to the table and the feast he had up.
I shifted my gaze to Nylah, who palmed her face. She looked exhausted and tired but she couldn't tell him that for some reason. It pissed me off even more.
"What are you doing?" I asked, my voice cold. I wasn't even trying to be nice or welcoming to him. Whatever he gets from me, he asks for it.
Of all the people he saw to speak with in the whole of the pack, he chose Nylah and sat her down for dinner!
"I'm having dinner with the chosen one of course!" he replied, his hands spread wide like he was having the time of his life, and things couldn't get better.
