He coughed severely before trying to sit up.
"Did it work? Did it work?" The guards whispered behind me but I just watched without a reply.
"Help him up." I instructed and they helped him to sit up.
He looked drained like all his strength had been sucked out of him. He didn't look any different when I first met him so I wouldn't say that the plant of life is responsible for that.
"Get him water and some food." Brian who noticed the same thing, instructed the guards and they left the hall.
He walked to me, leaning close. So close that it caught the attention of everyone in the room.
"Are you going to believe what he says?" He asked in a whisper which I thought was unnecessary because he could have used the mind link and no one would know we were discussing.
I shrugged at his question and replied through the mind link.
"Let's see what happens after he eats and gets himself back. He said he has more information."
